Your videos always feel like a peaceful, cozy visit with a friend. Sometimes it is though you read our minds. This week I have realized my increasing sensitivity to noise (especially when commuting). Even voices and sudden "thuds" from the apartment next door. People aren't intentionally annoying (at least, I don't believe they are 😃). Sometimes, they just forget that we share walls and are not aware of the potential impact. My mind goes into overthinking: "should I install sound dampening acoustic tiles on the walls? But I like the walls plain" 🤔 (See what I mean; the thoughts get volleyed back and forth!). I have also resumed eating fish (as I also do every few months). My body just seems to feel better with more protein. You look wonderful and have clearly found a beautiful balance in how you choose to live a life of abundance with less. 🤔 Take good car, Anja. Hugs to you and that precious bunny.
@@Jean_in_Stillness I hope you don't mind my interjecting here? You may be low on B vitamins. B vitamins will strengthen our nerve endings and have numerous other benefits. When I remember to take my supplement, I find I am less nervous and I have a lot more energy. I still hate loud noises though 🤨
@Jean_in_Stillness I'm so happy to hear that the videos feel like a cozy visit .💛 And I can relate so much to your noise sensitivity. It can have such a huge impact on daily life. Sometimes we have those situations where we are not completely sure of what to do. Because of course if it were optimal, you would have the walls empty without the noise. But it’s not optimal and the noise is present affecting your life, so now you are presented with a dilemma. Neighbor noise can be really intrusive. Especially because you cannot really 'escape' your home. It's where you live in. So in both cases you ‘lose’ something, either your empty walls or your peace of mind. Just as long as you are kind to yourself with conflicting thoughts is all that matters, even if, or especially if you choose something now and change your mind later. I like your new picture, the sheep are so adorable! :) Big hug to you
@@r.d.whitaker5787 That's a good tip, B vitamins really do have an influence on the nerves. Good reminder to make sure to get enough of it, for me too :)
As a minimalist also, aside from the weekly shop, I tried not having spare, backup, replacement items stored in the house thinking that I could just go to the store and get the item when I needed it. It sounds like a good idea, until you really need it and the stores are closed. So like you I now keep a small stock of a few essential items, tin food, batteries, soap etc. I would prefer not too, but its unavoidable. Great video, thanks for posting Anja and have a great week.
Wow I am also having a feminine rediscovery within the constraints of minimalism ie. nails, skincare, etc. amazing to hear I’m not alone in the evolution..I’m also getting into Pilates!
How great to hear that! And, wow, I just love your words: "Feminine rediscovery within the constraints of minimalism." That's exactly what it is. And Pilates is amazing! :)
I usually buy frozen fruits and vegetables, because in the United States they are more fresh than "fresh" produce! I like to keep plenty of groceries in the house,it helps me feel efficient and stay on my budget. I also must have my coffee ☕
That's so interesting about the frozen vegetables. I did not know that. I think in Europe the fresh ones are still alright. The non biological do have a lot of pesticides on them but it's hard to avoid those in modern day world unfortunately. I wash them good and peel when possible. But I also really love the frozen ones. Love the quality and how easy they are. Always in my freezer! :) Yeah, what is life without coffee, right? ☕
I try to keep stocked up on things. My daughter has a lot of anxiety and has a 2-year-old so she needs all the tips that she can get! When I'm organized I feel so much better.
Hello Anja. It was good to hear you describing what you do to stay calm and look after yourself. I find going for a walk helps. And your video could not have come at a better time for the world in terms of the importance of staying calm! 😅
I really feel the "being left alone for a while", because with city apartment, electricity, water and a child appoitments to take care of, it is never ending. I didnt come up with a solution other than living off grid somewhere with my family.

I'm so happy for you, self care is a lot more important than most people think 😊 💖💖💖💖💖
Your voice is so calming. Watching your videos and hearing your voice helps me be calm.
Thank you, that's so nice to hear :)
Keep radically caring for yourself. Sounds really good!
Yes, it makes such a difference :)

Hi Alec, so good to hear from you :) Yes, that is true, walks are just amazing and so calming. Take care!

Yes, it really is a lot, isn't it? You're probably right. Only way is to get off grid...
Here for you!:)
I appreciate it 💛
Great video, lovely.
Thank you!
Good to see you x
Thank you, Rochelle! :)
Hi Anja, thank you for sharing your grocery shopping. I have to say you eat healthy. A good balance of food groups. Wishing you a happy week 😊. Peter
Thanks so much, Peter. :) And you have a good week too!
Yes selfcare is very important. I find that even though I don't wear makeup, getting my eyebrows done once a month really helps me feel just adorable❤
Aw he’s so cute and your smile too!:)
Thank you, Pratibha!
Aw you have a bunny! I have a holland lop too❤❤❤
That's so cute! Love Holland lops :) I'm obsessed with this little guy. He has such a bunny personality 😂
@ They are funny hehe! Such cuties!!💕🥰
Lots of people seem to think that minimalism is having only boring sterile white walls.
Yes eat fish!
Yes! Always feel better when I do eat fish.
