  • Straight from the Forza 125, this time Its the 350 version's turn.
    A heavier scooter with the same chassis, and more power... Will it be much worse?

      I’ve owned a Matt black Forza 350 here in Sydney for three months now
      This is my 17th bike mostly sports bikes the last being a Yamaha MT09SP
      I love this scooter best bike I’ve ever owned just so easy to ride
      So convenient with big storage under seat
      Electric windscreen
      Three different feet positions
      Negatives is the suspension could be better but in saying that it handles like a dream
      Seat is quite high and I’m 6ft
      Quality fit and finish and famous Honda reliability is outstanding

    Looks great, felt right the way i 've seen you riding it. I am considering to swap my 150 Piaggio Medley with something bigger and faster, that doesn't sacrifice underseat space and in town usability. Also great to see more uploads coming out from one of the first TH-cam channels i joined, ages ago. It was even old style review, mostly on top of the bike as opposed to your later video's so that brought some extra good vibes!

    I have discovered that I like much more test drives than full ( boring ) reviews... man you took it all to the limit, I felt like driving with you on the back. Now anybody tell me: xmax or forza? I had Xmax 125 and man, on the roundabouts and corners I was overtaking bigger bikes...

    What you're feeling over big bumps is the heavy motor mounted on the swingarm. I had an Aprilia Scarabeo 500 and it was awful over big bumps. The Suzuki Burgman 650's motor is mounted in the frame like a motorcycle.

    Hi Cager!
    If possible can You do test new Yamaha Nmax and Xmax 125 as well?
    Nmax with reshaped "nose", stronger frame and bigger fuel tank
    Xmax with underpowered 9kW engine, but Yamaha claims "there is no difference".
    I would like to see it in real road test.

    I have the previous version, the 300 (279). It is an excellent machine!
    I use it for Deliveroo work. It is fantastic in the city! And quite good on faster roads too. Only thing about the faster roads is that it is sitting at higher revs than is ideal for an extended period of time. It is still only a little engine and designed more for smooth acceleration than maximum and higher speeds. It is a massive upgrade on any 125 scooter! But for someone wanting a maxi-scooter, who plans to go touring or long stretches on faster roads is part of their daily commute... the Suzuki Burgman 400 is the better choice - assuming they're not splashing out about double the price to get the Yamaha T-Maz 560.

    • @paulnorman8274
      @paulnorman8274 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yamaha sells, or at least sold, the similar XMAX.
      US style concrete slab freeways, really messes with the unitized engine/swingarms of these things at higher speeds. An hour of being pounded by the full weight of the almost undampened engine swinging out back, does not for a happy lower back make....
      It's a shame none of the proper maxis, with more US freeway friendly, motorcycle style, suspension layouts, are sold here. In Europe, the traditional scooter layout is much less detrimental.

    • @paulnorman8274
      @paulnorman8274 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@charlieboyvespa8610 Even if they are, don't expect miracles. It's a traditional unitized scooter layout, only with a big, heavy 330cc engine. That much unsprung weight, combined with limited travel and a seating position putting all weight on the tailbone, will never be comfortable at the sort of speeds the 300s enable.
      Try a (freakishly expensive, but still....) TMAX instead. Or a Forza 750. Or X-ADV. They have motorcycle suspensions, and are all the better for it. Or, just get an NC750x. The new one pretty much is a scooter, as far as city mobility, coverage of all hot parts and storage goes. It takes proper MC tire sizes, an automatic, and costs a lot less than the big maxis.

    If you ride the 300 and the 350 back to back you will see the suspension is much better on the 350... in my view at 95kg.
    If honda had of put better suspension like a motorcycle then it would be alot more expensive. I have just put the givi V56 top box on mine,upped the rear suspension a bit.It has the power to go rather than ok I'll get up to speed in my own time like the 300cc forza.

    "Like a fish in water" is NOT an expression that is used. "Like a fish OUT of water" IS used to describe something which is very uncomfortable in its current environment. We would be more likely to say, "like a pig in mud/muck/shit')".
