Hi, Did you find that the fuel economy suffered with the Givi screen. I have a Forza 350, and I have enjoyed your video's. They've encouraged me to venture further afield now that I have seen how far you travelled on yours.
Hi Simon, great to here from you mate. I know of a guy who went around the world on a Honda 50. That's stretching it a bit, but you get the meaning.Your world is your oyster. When I went to France Simon my Forza never skipped a beat. The French roads were great and I loved them as I did the roads in Scotland. To answer your question Simon it does a bit if your tanking it like I did on the motorway. If your on the motorway it knocks your mpg down by about 10 mpg. So if you are doing about 80 to the Gallon it knocks your mpg to about 70 odd. The trade off is you get far more protection than the standard one. I do hope this helps you. If your thinking of getting one I've still got mine. I don't have the Forza anymore. I've got the Honda 750 X DCT. The automatic one. I loved my Forza I do miss it. I did try to put them in them in the windscreen muka but had to take them out. I re-read the instructions and it indicates that you have to put the spacers in first, then the windshield on top. I've always done it how you described. If you freeze the frame at the end of the video you can see the instructions and they put them before the screen in the instructions. Also when I put them in the actual fly screen you couldn't tighten the screws up to there full extent. If you did tighten them up they squashed out. So I tried to loosen them but the screws were coming loose. Hence I looked at the instructions again. Hope this helps nogaro mate. Great to hear from you muka 👍

Just a point - these are not spacers - they are grommets that you push into the screen holes (I've had a many Givi screens - fantastic - these grommets are great feature). The bolts then go through the holes in the grommets so as to never touching the lexan screen. This method you've done will allow the screen to move in time and also the holes to wear bigger. It also won't damp the vibes as well. Basically, you fit the grommets to the screen before placing on, so each hole is rubber lined. It'll look like a rubber washer either side of the screen when fitted correctly.
