No, it won't. The fuse in the cigarette lighter nose is 10-15 amps and the unit will not put out half of its rated output while using it. Its not Bestek's fault. Cars have 10 or 15 amp fuses in their cigarette lighter/12 volt power outlets. Even a small shop vac will blow the fuse.
@@bgbanks6462 There is a way to do everything. What size air compressor? 1/3 horsepower air nailer or 6 horsepower Ingersoll Rand on the 120 gallon air tank? I sometimes run my Craftsman air compressor on 20 gallon tank with a 3000 watt Renogy inverter on a battery/inverter unit on wheels that I built.
no. not at all. This is why these people who have no idea what they are talking about should not make videos and talk about it to people who have no idea what they are talking about either. 5 volt 2 amp is the limit this thing can push through USB. 5 volt 2 amp is the most your phone or tablet can draw. hooking up to your battery will NOT charge your device any faster. it will draw the same amount at the same speed. HOWEVER, hooking to your battery, will allow you to run all of the outlets at their full power. the more you plug in, the more amperage it will pull from the car battery, but will only be putting out partial power in each outlet. On top of this, DO NOT EVER use these style clamps to try to connect them permanently. (they WILL slip off and will short or fry your car, its battery, or the inverter.) Those are for when you need more power, you pop the hood and connect it to the battery just to do a quick job. The right thing would be to find a REAL cable meant to be permanently connected to the battery terminal and ran to the inverter.
@@GabrielTheGuitarist thank you for this. So if i want to run an air compressor I would just check the amperage of the compressor to make sure inverter can handle it? I have a 7.3L powerstroke diesel and im currently starting to do road side service for my business. I need to be able to run a decent compressor out of my truck.
Dude. This car was only months old when I made this video. It’s a 3 cylinder engine. I dare you to watch videos on brand new Mitsubishi mirages on TH-cam. Most include a startup as well. This car is now 8 years old with 95 thousand miles and still sounds like it did in this video. Please do your research before coming at me with that. Thanks!!!
Where did you get the other piece to connect to the battery?
Will this power a sawsall??
Does anyone know if this will power a shop vacuum
If it does, I wouldn’t expect it to hold up long. That’s also hard on your battery and alternator if used long. But I’m not expert. Ask Scotty Kilmer.

LOL “ask Scotty Kilmer”
I agree with you.
That was my skepticism in using it to power my shop vac.

Boom -Shakalaka, So, connecting to our Battery provides a greater source for powering up our Devices....

Will this work on my my boomer uncle's biafron son's propeller hat?
Thank you! Nice video
Good video!
Bro if your 2016 with 10k miles on it sounds like lifters are flying around, you probably need a new engine, not an inverter.
