Being able to pull first gear in these hairpins is an absolute game changer. Sadly neither of my cars will be happy with me if I do it, but the GTS lives for it
With the cayman gearing you don't have a choice but to use first gear. It definitely feels unorthodox at first. However if you take Dom's advice and double clutch it like you should, then it goes in without any argument. Unfortunately the pass is getting pretty bumpy so it's difficult to push the car right to the limit without being twitchy.

since I do (see my channel) driving on the normal road is so boring ...
I've thought about it but it's a lot of wear on the car. Plus I've been on track in other cars, but I enjoy touring roads at my own pace.
