Well this was made in the 1990s so may look a little low tech now. Still with gadgets the more hi-tech the more there is to go wrong. I was asked, during a demonstration in a dept. store about a companies latest vegatable chopping device which would 'cut veg in moments' how wonderful I tought it was. I don't think they liked my answer of 'I have a set of chef's knives which will last longer and are quicker to wash than that piece of plastic cased junk that will break in a few weeks'.
I made the cold almond soup for a summer lunch party last summer (recipe available on Delia Online) and it was a sensation!

Yes the German kitchen equipment is so versatile, it slices,dices and invades Belgium at the touch of a button
