That’s pretty much the problem I’m running into. The shell in it’s current condition isn’t horrible it just that it had a decent amount rust repairs done already and they were done poorly and need to be redone. So it is possible that it could be easier and more cost effective just to find a new shell

Is the shell that bad? If so, I would fix this enough to drive safely and look for a better one without rushing
