I'll be picking up Spring Maria and respectfully, I'm slightly disappointed that she wasn't talked about. She has true DR, uses Breath of Life 4 incredibly well and has several b slot options to make up for lack of Laguz Friend access. Specifically, I'll be going for this build; Axe of Devotion, Pivot(obviously), Firestorm Boost, Gambit 4, S/D Rein Snap. Mostly grab bag stuff. There's a free merge in the codes as well so she's a nice tech option for certain modes.😅

Also worth noting L!Marth's Def is surprisingly high in the sword infantry pool if you consider dragonflowers+his prf weapon's stat stacking ability into the total. Very solid for a Laguz Friend build.
I’m so getting legendary caeda. Like summer fjorm I never got her and an updated build will definitely help with her performance. Whoever is cherry picking units for hall of forms is such picking quite the batch this year.
Legendary Marth still usable to me to this day... A very good check to those who like to vantage like Ninja Camilla and very deadly when teamed with Summer Sonia because of that hexblade status. Before her refine I was swapping between Young Minerva and Spring Maria on teams requiring a green flyer tank for some reason.
Man... I've put F! Maria on my AR-O team the day she came out, and I took her out shortly after E! Ike came out. Through all that period of time, she was my 1 blessable support each week, and yet... I barely remember what omnitanking looked like before Ike. Ike is gonna be the equivalent of dating that super hot person that's way out of your league, and when you break up you know that it's all gonna be downhill from there. Jokes aside, Maria has done so much for me that I can't help but agree that she might make a comeback once we're back down to earth and we don't have a tank that gets their full HP bar back after every round of combat. I always appreciated that her uniqueness resided in her PRF weapon, making her kit flexible and upgradeable.

Laguz Friend and Potent are about the same since there is no level 3 for those. I feel like LF would be the choice for fodder saving. Since one E!Marth will give Potent and INFU4, and Ike only gives D/R finish with LF, I feel like it would be the cheaper option. So many options... So little time.....
For Marth I'm going for Bonus Doubler 4 because it lets you use the DC seal efficiently in arena. Imo Atk/Spd Finish 4 is a decent choice as well since you can use it for both tanking and nuking.
my reading skills are garbo but what's the difference between dc bd and bd4 cause I kinda read the same thing in both as they both grant you double the bonuses from you or your allies within 2 spaces?? (highest value) so why would you pick one over the other??
@@Quiqueleal85 BD4 gives the unit an additional +4 to all stats, DBD doesn't give that +4 but has the DC effect. Outside of that, they have the same effect.
One has DC (obviously), which is good for countering ranged nukes. It also has a more lenient condition of granting you double the bonuses in combat, where you and your allies within 2 spaces just need to have the highest value of bonuses on you. The other one requires either you or an ally within 2 spaces to have an active bonus in order to get the bonus doubler condition, but grants you double the stats plus 4.
Hi love your builds, for L!Caeda how come you take ruptured sky over no quarter for the arena build, don’t they score the same with no quarter being a stronger special?
That’s a great question! In arena, for unit like Caeda, most of the time you’re only trying to kill one other unit. It’s also difficult to get additional cooldown on fliers in that mode. I found that I could proc ruptured sky, but it was rough to get no quarter to proc.
The extra cooldown didn’t help Marth much. If you’re planning to use him late game, pulse up blades is really nice. For early turns, incite gives you immediate satisfaction 😁
hey Joel, thoughts on Atk/Spd Pledge or Pulse Up: Blades for unmerged L!Marth as Arena Bonus? both would let him proc No Quarter without having to use E!Marth compared to Incite Atk/Spd
For the targets he’d be after in arena, guard isn’t much of a concern. Pulse up blades is definitely better late game, but for the most part, he needs all the stats he can get. All 3 are good options, though.
@@FEH I know about the special jump, but GLR has 3 cooldown and LF4 gives you a jump of two, L!Marth has no slaying, so the first hit has no GLR. That’s the same reason why I run TP4 with LF4 on my F!Lloyd, yes I could also give him the Marth ring, but for a tanking build you really don’t want to renounce on the Ike ring
For scoring purposes. I’m not 100% sure on what he’ll reach but with high dragon wall being 400 SP I think he needs the 300 SP sacred seal to bump him up a bin.
Grab bag is some other neat skills you can get that are fun on the unit. They may not offer perfect synergy with the other kits, but most of the time, we don’t need perfect.

Laguz Friend. He can stack so many stats from his BD and Unity effect that he will take 0 damage.

Getting both Marth and Caeda, but Caeda is the one I use more. Legendary Caeda is my first and only +10 legendary.

Doesn’t L!Marth need TP4 to loop Godlike Reflexes with LF4?
It’s possible with the Emblem Marth. But without him yeah
He does not. LG4 gives you a special jump, so you’re always proccing Godlike reflexes in the enemy phase

It’s for scoring. If he does have a useful seal, it doesn’t change the matchup, though.
