      Even as a Trump hater, I can see how stupid that analogy is! Nothing has changed wrt the $454M award; just the amount that has to be put up in order to appeal it! The award hasn't changed - it's STILL $454M with around 100K interest accruing daily!

    • @tunguskalumberjack9987
      @tunguskalumberjack9987 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don’t expect to see trump pay a dime of that bond, let alone the full amount the judgment is for. Calling the analogy stupid was rude and pointless infighting- the sentiment behind the analogy is the frustration that we’re all feeling due to seeing this criminally-motivated danger to the world continue to get away with everything that he’s done. Now isn’t an appropriate time to be namecalling people who are on your team- we need to be united in our collective defense against trump and the maga threat. Save your arguing for after we’ve got the right wing lunatics de-fanged.

      What are they thinking?
      But then again, it would be very foolish for so-called 'progressives' that all the humbler folks share their in-your-face cultural radicalism.
      Aren't you relying a bit too much on cultural stereotypes? Everyone knows that America has an ongoing problem with racism. HOWEVER many people of color have done very well for themselves, by the grace of God.

      We're not a dictatorship. We go through a process.
      No one judge can just put a huge amount of penalty on you and you have no recourse. We are a system of laws.
      NOT a one judge dictatorship.
      We are a liberal country. A republic. Not Russia, or Cuba or Venezuela where they do this to people.
      Like if it ever happened to you or me, we'd want appeals to see if the judgement was too harsh or unfair, etc. In whatever case we could be involved in.
