P.s. St Nicholas day, Sinterklaas, is a day for gift-giving and children's celebrations. Shopping for it can get a bit like Thanksgiving shopping at times, but it's very Dutch. Some other European countries celebrate St. Nicholas too (Belgium and Hungary I know for sure) but not the same way. December 5th is celebrated in Holland, Michigan too.
Sorry to hear you have a bad cold TJ, but I hope you are over it now. It was good to see your work shop, that's just how I would have mine if I had one. That's the first time I've seen a Speccy cartridge up close as well lol 👍
Greetings from across the pond. I really enjoy your videos and based on your recommendation, I've bought an Atari 800XL. Did fancy an 800, but in the UK they're quite expensive and a good one is rare. Looking forward for it to be delivered and to start to enjoy some Atari 8 bit computing. Are there any addons or upgrades you would recommend? Thanks.
TJ You've got a Rye Bread VW? - Very very Cool! - Yeah, that's what we call those models over here in Viking-land. Because of their slightly rounded box shape. But you know, if ever there were a reason for you to get a Breadbin. 🥸😆 BTW. it's "Folks Wagon" not "Volts Wagon". Because the Germans pronounce the letter "V" as an "F". Yeah, they are just odd like that 🥸. But it also makes more sense that way, when you think about it. Since you know, it's suppose to be the "Peoples Car".
yeh never been PC with the name VW here in the USA. A few collectors may say it but most people just say it the way I did in the video. If I say it the right way here people will look at me funny unless they are that 1 in a million VW affectionado. haha

I never knew that. That makes perfect sense. I've only heard it pronounce " volks wagon".
