    Cams are good….slams into the set 7500rpm redline now with no valve float👌. No real downside. Sorted basic fuel mapping running 3rd gear o red line and adjusting logs, it needed up to 10+% up top. VVT timing on Dyno soon!

    thanks for the nice video! Syvecs looks mega, and maybe too big project to do cam springs + cams back home. alhough its tempting looks there is many spots where it can go wrong

    What sort of spool are you seeing In 3rd on stock turbo and typeA cams?

    Thanks looks like it was a big job,
    where did you get tech manual?
    You got it running on e85

      Tech manual from Toyota online. Now running on E85 and fitting a GT25-550 turbo and 1000cc Bosch secondary injectors with a DW brushless fuel pump👍👍

    Awesome set up! Getting some great numbers, did the cams meet your expectations? Always great to hear feedback?

      Cams exceeded my expectations. No discernible loss of low torque and feels like it will rev to 8k easily, but limiting at a sensible 7500. They go very well with gt25-550

    How much horsepower did this set up make?

    • @davindermanku8187
      @davindermanku8187  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s now got a G25-550 turbo, 3” catless, big intercooler and piping, 1200cc secondary injectors and a fuel surge tank with a DW440 brushless pump. At 28psi it makes about 480hp on 98RON, on ethanol over 500 but have to manage torque carefully to preserve driveline….still dialling it all in.

    do you bring out the original valve spring seat?

    • @Mycilhafez
      @Mycilhafez ปีที่แล้ว

      oem valve spring base actually what i mean.

    • @davindermanku8187
      @davindermanku8187  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, replaced with kelford bases that come as part of their replacement kit. Must take the OE bases out to achieve proper spring seat pressures.

    • @Mycilhafez
      @Mycilhafez ปีที่แล้ว

      What is the risk if just leave the oe base? Is it affected the cams or any issue for high revving?

    • @davindermanku8187
      @davindermanku8187  ปีที่แล้ว

      Why leave them?, just pick them off with a magnet. The OE bases are very thin, like .5mm or less. Like washers really. The kelford springs are designed for their own bases. You have nothing to gain by leaving the OE bases in.
