Good on you :) awesome to hear you and your friend are keen to get hands on. You might have to watch the video just a couple more times while you're doing it ;). Having the right tools will be important too.
Thank you! Another video coming on Saturday morning (Aus time). The compressed air screwed into the spark plug hole is used to push up against the valves to hold them in place while we remove the valve collets to swap the valve springs over. Otherwise, when we remove the valve springs and collets, the valves will drop inside the combustion chamber. Less work than having to remove the cylinder head.
Awesome. Great to hear you're giving it a go yourself. I did some quick Googling and looks like the workshop manual is behind a pay wall online. Or just watch our videos on repeat 😝
Nice work guys.
Thank you. We’re busy editing the rest of the videos in the series. 😎
Never knew it was that hard. Fk u guys are legends. Surgeon at work
Thanks! and yeah, when you're leaving the head on, it's not simple. Were you thinking of doing it yourself?
@denstoj yes but me and my friend aren't mechanic haha 😅

What’s the purpose of the compressed air that you have running to the spark plug hole?
