I actually like the first principal. He is calmly communicating with his students and encouraging them to be responsible. The fact that the students feel free to joke with him shows that he isn’t threatening or toxic.
Well he seems nice, but personal character is not the point, his social role is. A nice principal still fills the role of "principal," the guy whose job it is to tell teenagers not to touch each other. I don't see the point of commenting on his character, basically, when his job is actually what's determining his behavior.
@@katatat2030 As you say, it's one part of the guys job to make sure "teenagers don't touch each other". But it's entirely his decision which way he goes about doing that. He could've screamed and yelled at them, he could have punished everyone far more severely than just postponing a dance, he could have just not bothered to entertain them at all. Instead he was patient, listened to what they said, and made sure his rules were understandable. And he didn't immediately fly off the handle when it was clear they were playing up to the cameras. Some people do their jobs better than others. It appears as though that principal would be one that the students trust and respect, rather than fear or tolerate.
@@emstink but you also have to remember that he knows he’s going to be on tv, and has to make himself look good so that parents and potential parents will continue to endorse the school by sending their children there

I literally only just found out about Drew and Danny this week, and both are just so funny.
I can see they're youtubers way back from the viner invasion era, but their humour is honestly timeless.

But I mean, that bed is huge for a kid that small. The sheets (and duvet??) were really nice and didn't really scream "I belong on a child's bed", there's nothing on the walls - no posters, photos, not even shelves? No desk. No furniture besides the bedside table and the dresser. One single stuffed toy and a handful of marbles? I think that WAS the guest room.
