@ Motorcycle Rescuer You Can Use Any 4 Pin Voltage Regulator Rectifier For Any GY6 Engine As There All The Same Voltage Regulator Rectifier For Every GY6 Scooter Engine Also All The Green Wires You See They Are All Ground Wiring The Red Wires Are Power Wiring & The Yellow Wires Are The AC Charging System Wiring Hope This Helps
Thanks buddy. So technically all the yellows should have attached to each other and the 1 yellow on the loom? I'm not messing with it anyway if I'm being honest, ill wait a few days for the new one. Plug and play. Fingers crossed
Hey mate ! Someone might have did a stator upgrade on the lexmoto, requires changing the regulator/ rectifier. You might need to pull the flywheel & count the poles on the stator & make sure they didn't upgrade to 11 pole. Not sure but I think they're 8 pole stock, but I don't know about that scoot Charlie . It's a popular upgrade on Chinese scooters so that would explain the botched wiring job on the regulator. As always best of luck to you & that company is trying to take advantage of a lady ,go see if they have the 2020 PCX . Salute 🛵🙌
If memory serves the expansion tank would be around where the pipe is now, so to the rear and higher than you thought, again if memory serves one hoe to allow the coolant into the tank and suction plus it back as the engine cools, not sure if you need one to pass mot. Regards the shocks I think the tester would expect one return from compressed and one move to settle, they look like the damping is going off but what the garage said is not matching reality and as for 900 for a 2020 PCX, if that’s was genuine I’d camp outside to be first in line.
Do you think the expansion bottle is needed? I know that they are removed sometimes and blocked off. I could find 1 pipe but not a return pipe at all which was really annoying. I've no idea how I would get the coolant from the bottle back into the system.
@@motorcyclerescuer scanning the net the only advice is if it is fitted it must be secure. 60’s cars often didn’t have one. I don’t recall my GPZ500 ever changing the level in its tank, I’d suggest check the level in the rad when cold, check the hose ie empty and cap it with a bolt. There would be two hoses, to the expansion tank one from rad the other an overboard drain, don’t want hit glycol all over the rear wheel! If you ever want to see an utter butch of a job remove the expansion tank from a bandit 650 , or try and remove the top shock bolt with it in place.
no fuel running, oiled up air filter, shoot some easy start in air intake, if goes brum defo fuel issue, would of thought it would fire or backfire if timing, bloody snow everywhere here so et4 staying broke, thinking its coil sparkerlator or cap, crappy coil maybe, bought a 2001 vespa px 125 disc with 1950m on clock for lockdown amusement, been in bits since 03 for 500, reckonn 150 to replace missing parts, previous owner says he ran engine 2 yrs ago,. nearly back together no biggies yet. lots of shopping to do.
Check for hidden bolts, that's normally the answer. Some have clips aswell so you need to give it a pull. My guess is you have missed a bolt or 2. Have another good look when you can
New sub

@motorcyclerescuer I have there is no bolts I have taking all the screws out been trying to take it off for 2 hours
It will have some clips aswell then. Try sliding the panels up, down, left, right, you may need to he slightly heavy handed.
@motorcyclerescuer OK thanks as yh I need to take off the whole front panel as I need to change the bulb and clean inside the head light
Let me know when you get into it. I'm curious
what was the problem.in the end? great vid
There was a little lighting diode in the wiring loom which was causing all the problems
How do u wire a cdi box for lexmoto fmr
What do you mean? Do you mean de restrict it?
Try putting the Side casing bk on then try it
Tried everything today. Will try again tomorrow. It's possible I messed up the rebuild.
