Performance and optimization are huge topics to cover. Thank you so much for giving some tips, Daniel, Cory and Rafael! They will be very handy for my future projects 🍭.
Finally catch up to the episode and I must say love the format. Performance may be the most important thing in XR Design process that is that much overlooked by new spatial designers. There no much "mainstream" (easy to find) resources that tackle performance problem and from the begining educate designers about significance of this area of the process. So this episode turn out to be great inspiration to tackle performance problem from the get go. Hope to see more of this format. Moreover I really like this segment of the episode where you explain your (bezi's) thought process about creating a performance feature. Really clever way to connect with bezi user group and I think this approach rewards you with better quality feedback from the users. Lastly, congrats on winning Top XR MasterMind bud, fully deserve with a work you put in. Keep going. Plus minus ;)
Could totally relate to this and I wish I've known this before when I was starting to learn spatial design. This is really a great topic and thanks for sharing your insights!
Something I've been running into is that, when I develop in Unity, I often depend on the Update() loop, basically performing computation on each frame render. I know there must be a better way to do things, but I probably need guidance to find those better ways
