    This is a simple and basic video, really ... but it explains beautifully how medical terminology is constructed. You can use the principles here to decode and understand thousands of medical terms! Thank you for this helpful presentation.

    No clue why this was in my recommendations - but as an old Air Force AeroMed (1968 - 1971) who has had nothing to do with the medical field since getting out (I saw enough to last a lifetime), I decided to give it a watch. I sure wish my teacher back then explained it as well as you did. Would have been so much easier.
    When you explained hyper vs hypo I had to laugh because I still chuckle when I hear people talk about a "hyperdermic" needle. I suppose all needles are technically "hyperdermic" prior to injection. ROFL

    I am taking a medical terminology course for my office admin program at college. This is helpful, but started to lose my way toward the end. I am SO overwhelmed and haven't quite worked out the best system to learn.
