This is Chinese folk cum Taoist religious practice of the Nine Emperors Festival which is known as 'Vegetarian Festival' in Thailand and there is a demonstration of spirit / planchette / automatic writing or known as 'fu ji'. None of this has anything to do with Chinese Buddhists nor Buddhism.
Bigu diet is great for health, only now modern science is realizing this. But vegetarian diet is degenerative for general health, hormonal and even mental.

@@TheHugSlug Islam is one religion and law that does not change, and the Sunnis are the ones who adhere to this correct religion, while the Shiites and the rest of the sects are the ones who came out and changed this religion and claim that they are its followers, and this is a lie.
@@WR-lt4mi In the words of the prophet George Carlin, keep thy relegion to yourself. There is one God, as many belive, and the 2 branches mentioned are from prophets who came 100's of years later. I do not think any god would say to "off" someone, yet Islam seems to have no quams about doing so. I have so much to learn, yet other MEN are pushing their ways on women. Is it possibe WR-lt is too closed minded?
addendum; if men want to practice their religion, why force women to cover their head. Women do fine letting themselves make choices. Gee, men sound like government remaining in power.
