Night setting is pretty cool with plenty of light. Though I’d prefer a more nature background than of a wooden fence. But the lady was energetic and felt the vibes. She also gave a great massage 👍🏻

After more than two years, this is still my favorite!
She beat him with a bush. Rubbed an egg on him. Made him smell noxious stuff. Spat on him and then in the end pressed an oily stone into his skull. Yet, despite this, it is an oddly calming experience!
I can see how this ritual can seem unusual the first time you see it, but I can assure you that it is a very pleasant experience. I applaud you for keeping an open mind to the potential benefits and wisdom of different cultural beliefs! 😊

I didn't judge people who do them or who are under them, but I just didn't see their point. now, as these years had passed and I've been learning more and more about spirituality, I've realized that every culture has their own ways of healing others, their own practices and traditions, each one of them indeed having ''effect'', because our thoughts are alive, and we energize certain things (which of course have their own energies) with them to heal (or curse) others. therefore, what Doña Esperanza said in the end made perfect sense. it's simply better if a more knowledgeable and experienced person handles the cleansing after the limpia.
the spitting really caught me off guard, but if you ask me, that was how Doña Esperanza gave little bit of her own energy to heal you. you can correct me if I'm wrong of course.

There are many options for this in Canada, one being sweat lodges. The Indigenous history between the US and Canada has been very borderless and still is, with tribes crossing borders in the fall and spring. The US has more of the peyote and mushroom history and current use since it’s grows more naturally there, but because of the seasonal migrations it’s quite prevalent here too

Right, I completely understand that the background noises can be distracting when we make these videos in the public markets. I much prefer to do them in a private setting, where I have much more control not only over the noise level, but I can use better camera equipment that I wouldn't be able to at a public market 😊

People usually get them when they are feeling down or something bad has happened to clean the negative energy, or just to boost one's spirits Parents often bring their children or even babies to have a cleansing, as it is believed that children are especially vulnerable to "evil eye". I usually one every month or so, and I find it incredibly invigorating, a very positive experience!
