I live in the u.s and I find it strange people think this is weird the blessing of the bikes is a big thing here with a huge amount of participants and a long ride after
Hi Colin. That's something you don't see every day. Btw was that a third party blessing or a fully comprehensive version? Sorry, I couldn't resist. I wonder if that monk would mind blessing the Vietjet plane that I'm catching here in Chiang Mai to Saigon in two days. Bit nervous about flying with them. You'll be happy to know I was suitably impressed with Thai Airways. Attentive and hard working cabin crew.
Why do these monks express very little emotions? They always seem extremely... monotone? Going on sad. Probably a stupid question, excuse my ignorance on the subject matter :)
@@Kennnnyy__ Not to get all philosophical, but why must they express them? Expression is used to alert others to your Self. When you are happy, you feel it, but you smile to show it. I'd think it is kinda like Stoicism, the idea of a self-controlled existence.
Not religious myself, but that's all prayer and ceremony really is from my own research. It's "tuning in" to the powers that be, whatever they could be. Knew some people who said their religious practice was to sit down and roll a blunt on the 10 commandments and say the lords prayer before sparking it. Blasphemy to some, remembrance to others.
Nice bike. It is nice to respect the local practices as well. Enjoy.
I never would of thought of blessing a bike but it's a rather nice idea
Thank you Respected Monk for blessing.
So no problem with the wheels, the electronics, the engine or government departments when it comes to registration etc. I like it!
Many thanks
This is awesome documentation, congratulations for your place and influence in history
Glad you enjoyed it!
Didn't know they had tech priests over there.
How else will they get it to start?
There's nothing wrong in it, it's their tradition " they always thank Buddha before starting any good works"
The emperors horse when he fought the ctan was a Yamaha scooter😂
Wow! You got the full blessing there!
Good ASMR very relaxing
Peaceful and calming
The best way to pimp a ride and the safest too!
ASMR
Have to bless the machine spirit otherwise its heresy.
Blessed be the omnissiah
What are the SPECS of this motorbike? Looks awesome! 👍
Thus scares me when I start feeling like a bike...
For my first car, a 1980 Camaro, the Monk would have needed the entire Monastery to bless that crate.
Interesting Montir/Montr the monk is using to have water in
Very good Colin
Thanks 🙏
Fascinating .. 👍👍👍👍
愛車に儀式は笑うww😂
You will ride eternal, shiny and chrome.

Many thanks

Brazil here 🇧🇷
Ave Omnissia... Ouch, ave Budda😅
HERESY DETECTED
Interesting. Ride safe!
I want this or Native American blessing on my Harley
You should bless the Native Americans instead 😂
It’s like when he is puttting on the water he is saying bad moterbike bad bad bad
Giving blessing to a physical thing, it is not right.
You mean something that's not sentient, to each their own, this is harmless
What like holy water?
Ive always wondered is this white "paint" permanent or is it washed off at a later time.
Nothing to worry... It can be washed off immediately...
define asmr
Go a head. Make some interesting things like this.
Always interested me in the things that people choose to believe in.

Doug M I flew to China from Ho Chi Min. They were great.
Good to hear, Barry.
Asmr from 0:53 to 7:36
What is the white substance he is putting on the bike?
A special sort of cream I imagine
@@POLITICUS-DANICUS I think those are paste, not cream.
My ocd tells me you are doing something bad to your motorcycle

Inward peace
Serving sentient beings is making offerings to the Buddhas
@@aminimoose3971 why does peace mean they rarely express emotions?

@@aminimoose3971 That perfectly answers my question. Thank you!
He died on the way home. The lubricant the monk put on his wheels loosend the lugs
Cruel but hilarious.
Right?
Sesudah blessing, kalau anda pandu laju tetap accident dan boleh mati...
Yes you are right
😂😂😂😂😂
He’s just making stuff up but as long as you don’t know that, then it has meaning

Talk about First World Issues. Must be great to have that much disposable income you can pay a monk to bless your motorbike.
