there are many neighborhoods in the cape coral area that their decra stone over steel peeled off like wet bandaids. most likely put on by slapiton roofing contractors. same may go for Boral/Unified steel or any product. i want assurance before i spend 50k that the manufacturer representative is around during install to make sure their product is nailed/screwed /or foam glued down correctly or they will be waiting on their profits.
LOL! So you're telling us that every roofer you talk to told you to install a roof that weighs 8.5 pounds per square foot on a home that currently has a roof that weighs 1.5 lb per square foot? It sounds to me like you should have done a lot more shopping brother! I sincerely hope you do not develop any structural problems down the road. But they are more than likely going to happen. I have seen this exact same thing happened multiple times in my life. The issues that you will most likely inevitably have our issues with are your doors especially the exterior doors, windows and your garage door, just to mention a few. God Bless you!
