You'll be surprised, the brackets can be adjusted around pipes and cables to bridge over and around them, then the boards sale over the top which not only hides but protracts services from being stood on etc.
What about creating the space first, you know the roof trusses, and I’m sure it s quick and easy to do on a factory floor but not so in situ. Nevertheless a good guid
Most modern houses have roof trusses so you don't have a large clear space like this is showing, in fact even traditional roofs have purlins and braces so you wouldn't end up with anything like this space, abit misleading really!
@israeladesanya4596 You can't just take braces out of a roof so you clearly know nothing about roof construction! They are there to prevent movement and sag, not to look pretty. This isn't a true reflection of doing the job in an actual loft.
@edthompson9337 did I not write support first???? I'm not about to argue with someone, about something so simple. If you don't get it ed, I think you should leave these kind of videos alone. Your clearly in too deep.
@@israeladesanya4596 Lol, you said " put supports in like Craig has done", the only supports he put in were for the floor he put down, you haven't got a clue what you are talking about!😂
Thought this was art attack for a minute 😂
Hi,how do you level the supports as most old lofts are out of level up to 50mm from one end to the other?
really like this but with the amount of electric cables and pipes running across my loft I don't think it would work for me

Yeh, most lofts are not that big or high and you seem have lost a fair height there
They do offer a shorter brackets so it doesn't go as high as this one for that very reason
So Craig uses a Philips screwdriver bit to screw in pozi drive screws????😮

I would stagger the joints...

Well you would put supports in like craig has done and take your braces out, not rocket science ed.
