    Hi Brother, How we will include the Half day leave in this?

  • @sunilsingh-nr2eo
    @sunilsingh-nr2eo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    Formula is correct except unplanned leaves as correct is
    No. Of advisors absent/total head count
    But in this video it's divided by rostered count which is incorrect
    Suppose an example:-
    Headcount 10
    Woff 9
    Rostered 1
    Unplanned 1
    Planned shrinkage 9/10=90%
    Unplanned 1/1= 100%
    Total shrinkage=190% but shrinkage cannot exceed 100%
    So correct is
    Unplanned 1/10=10%
    Total shrinkage= 90%+10%=100%
    As 9 on woff & 1 absent means no one is present 100% shrinkage
    Hope it's now clear to all.
    Thanks in advance 😀

      You are correct WO are never calculated in shrinkage. Because while joining the company, it is already told that you will get 2 WO or 1 WO. That means you are only paid for workable days.

    Mujhe lga sahi bta rahe ho but end me aate aate sab kachra kar dia aapne.
    Aapne planned and unplanned me jisse divide kia dono alag chij hai.
    To aap last me dono ko add kr k total kese bata dia.
    It's basic maths right?
    Jab bhi aap total percentage nikalte ho 2 calculations ka dono calculations me denominator same hi hona chahiye.
    Please fix this.

    Sir i have a ques pls ans to it
    We have total 6 people in a team
    Feb month we have 6planned leaves each one planned leave. Every week we all get fixed week off
    So what is the total shrinkage?
    2.we are 6 in a team
    We have 4 planned
    We have 2 unplanned
    Same 2 days fixed week off in every week
    Now what is the shrinkage

    • @Advancement1
      @Advancement1  ปีที่แล้ว

      1. (6planned +(6week off*4week)/(6people*28 Days) = 18%
      2. (4planned+ 2unplanned + (2 week off*4week*6 people))/(6people*28 Days) = 32%

    Incorrect, so shrinkage is not calculated like this instead we calculate the hours so the formula is total hours of external shrinkage + total hours of internal shrinkage / total hours available X 100

    Bhai seedha seedha Shrinkage ka definition batao

    • @Advancement1
      @Advancement1  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In the context of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), shrinkage refers to the time during which agents are not available to handle customer interactions, and this includes various factors such as scheduled breaks, meetings, training sessions, and also the time when employees are absent or on their scheduled weekly off days.
      When specifically discussing shrinkage related to absent and weekly off employees in BPO:
      1. **Absenteeism**: This refers to the unplanned absence of employees from their scheduled shifts. Absenteeism can occur due to various reasons such as illness, personal emergencies, transportation issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Absenteeism contributes to shrinkage because it results in a loss of available manpower during scheduled working hours.
      2. **Weekly Offs**: In many BPOs, employees have fixed weekly off days as part of their work schedule. During these days, employees are not available to handle customer interactions or perform their regular duties. While weekly offs are planned and scheduled in advance, they still contribute to shrinkage as they represent periods when agents are unavailable for work.
      Managing absenteeism and scheduling weekly offs effectively is essential for BPO operations to ensure that there are enough agents available to handle customer inquiries and meet service level agreements (SLAs). By accurately tracking and managing shrinkage related to absent and weekly off employees, BPO organizations can optimize workforce planning, maintain service quality, and minimize the impact on overall operational efficiency.

    Sab kuch galat bataya bhai... Tumhari vajah se bht log reject hone wale hai...
    Week off is not part of planned shrinkage and you should not plus 2 percentages.
    Needs to be calculated from all number
    ( planned + unplanned) / Schedule headcount

    • @Amit-iq9lr

      Total shrinkage should match your individual calculatotion.... Total people not available(planned plus unplanned) divided by total people You Are adding 2 percentages, however the inputs in both percentages are different

    • @Advancement1
      @Advancement1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shrinkage = Planned shrinkage + Unplanned Shrinkage.
      Planned Shrinkage = (No. of week-off + No. of leaves)/Total Head-count
      Unplanned Shrinkage = {No. of absent + (Half day/2)}/ Total Roster-count.

      @abhishekjurel3713 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cybercriminaldost7819it's correct the actual formula of the shrinkage is planned + unplanned shrinkage so let me say something first there are two ways to calculate the shrinkage see
      Planned shrinkage 6/30 = 20%
      6 is planned WO+ Leaves
      Total headcount is 30
      Unplanned shrinkage should be calculated in two ways
      2/24 = 8.33% either 2/30 = 6.66%
      Unplanned shrinkage should be as per company
      Total shrinkage 20% + 8.33 = 28.33%
      Total shrinkage 20% + 6.66% 26.66%
