  • @ludovicfiscal5890
    @ludovicfiscal5890 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey, thanks for your videos. I really enjoyed them as an amateur.
    I got a Nikkon d5100 with 18-55 lens that I keep to 50 most of the time.
    My question is: how your unedited Jpeg can look that great?
    What setting do you use (except aperture, speed shutter and iso)
    Many thanks

    • @Photomeike
      @Photomeike  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks! I put the setting of the images right next to them on the left of the screen like @7:20. My camera's color profile is just set to standard if that makes any sense to you. But if you were in the exact same situation with the same lighting as me. Your images would look exactly just like mine. Knowing how to find the best light and getting proper exposure will give you the best results no matter what.

    • @Photomeike
      @Photomeike  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Question: when you shoot in front of business like you do in the first part of the video... Do you talk with someone or just go for it? Also, shooting inside a cafeteria (the typical window photo) have you tried it ?

    • @Photomeike
      @Photomeike  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +kanipeople21 sometimes. It depends on the place and how much of a production it is. But most of the time I just go for it. I just make it quick and try not to be a disturbance. No I haven't tried shooting in a cafeteria yet.

    First and foremost I love your pictures and your videos they have been so helpful for me as a beginning fashion photographer. I noticed that in your final pictures that you show they are all shot in JPEG. Why do you choose JPEG over RAW? Thanks for the videos and please keep them coming lol :)

    • @Photomeike
      @Photomeike  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Kahlita Michelle hey thanks. I do shoot in RAW. But once you edit and export the photos they all end up in the JPEG format. But by shooting in RAW I get more flexibility and range when I edit the images. But to be more specific you maybe referring to my "unedited JPEG" images that I post. I post those because it would take me to long to edit the images for the video. So I just post the unedited ones instead. Lol

    How do you get enough light shooting outside in shade (during golden hour) if you don't have a lens where you can open the aperture really far? I'm trying to do a shoot outside in front of a corporate building, to show a pair of slacks that I'm selling. I want to shoot out of direct sunlight, but I'm afraid it will be too dark because I don't have an expensive lens.

    • @Photomeike
      @Photomeike  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be fine even without an expensive lens. In the shade during golden hour. ISO 400 should provide you with plenty of light even at f4 or 5.6

      Photomeike fair point. one follow-up question when you look at your pictures on the laptop or the big screen do you notice a clear difference in sharpness compared to what you were looking at in the camera monitor and if so what do you do to try to compensate for this

    in some photos i see u shot at F2, and 1/320th with 125 iso, wouldnt it been better if u shoot at F1.4 and a faster shutter speed since ur shooting natural light or else what is the point of havin a 1.4 lense that u will not use

      Well in my opinion 320th was a fast enough shutter in the situation that I was in because I wasn't shooting any super fast moving objects. The reason for f2 was simple. I wanted a sharper picture aka more stuff in focus. There is a time and place for f1.4 and it wasn't there.

      Idk, I think for the most part they all came out really pretty just like her, there were a couple that look like resting bitch face, but honestly that's kinda in rn so maybe that was the point. (Not hatin bc I'm also cursed with resting b face as well lol)
