The most useful part of this video was that your model/photographer had the exact same facial expression in ALL the shots, so there was no doubt about the fact that things looked better or worse because of posing - face was the same, so it had to be the rest, that was such a good way to go about it!
@@renelynfuentes7958 oh that makes sense. I think they didn't mention it in the intro, I have no idea who they are but really appreciate her posing style
I have been watching Irene for several years, and her photographic talent is outstanding. While I photograph people, I was never a model, so I have to try and be intuitive about what I am asking of a model during the session. Irene gets a really fantastic chance to "be" the model, and she will feel better about posing them going forward. Excellent job Irene and Anita.
Point proven : you do not have to be a "model" to be a model... and strike all the right poses. Sure, Irene knows a thing or two about posing (via directing models), but all it takes is mutual understanding and care and awareness. Great job Ladies !

My main problem is that my friends/family don't even give me time to pose!! They just freaking take the pic right away and it ends up looking awful lol.
Ugh, sounds annoying. I get that happening to me, but with my friends. Please tell them, like say "hold on!" looking down, then pose, finally looking back at them with your good side.

Very true. I know some body shapes, to me, do not have that "S" shape and trying to force one on a larger model would seem hurtful to their ego. So, seeing variables of heavier friends on vacation, etc, and nothing to "hide" behind (scarves, signs, coats, friends, and seeing options this way would be so helpful as well.
