It's nice that you pointed out some of the weird AK apologists. As an AK shooter for the past 15 years with 2-3 MOA rifles which have been insanely reliable, I'll never understand the people who think a "pretty reliable" AK that shoots 5-6 MOA is "normal". It's not. That's the result of a chop-job building a parts kit or a simply bad gun. A factory AK made by a reputable company is 3-4 MOA for a 7.62 rig and 2-3 MOA for a 5.45 rig. It should also be, essentially 100% reliable with the rare exception of bad ammo, etc. If your AK is not 100% good to go and shooting decently, ditch it or fix it. That's not normal, despite what somebody with their 20 year old $179 WASR is telling you.
Been watching your videos for the last couple of months, all so entertaining. Just bought my first ak, a zastava m70. Love the time and energy you put into these videos! It really shows!
Just a tip: I had trouble with the side-rail mounting plate on my WASR 10 not staying tight... the front of the plate would "click" up and down. I had a local gunsmith try to tighten up the rivets several times, without success. Another local gunsmith convinced me that there is no way to "tighten" the old rivets so he drilled out all three and replaced them with 3/16" steel rivets. The plate has been solid as a rock for almost a thousand rounds now and the accuracy is quite satisfactory.

Also if you use a hair dryer to heat up the blue Loctite it’s better than rocks set. Simply by using a hair dryer to heat up and cure the blue Loctite. Try it. I bet it fixes a lot of problems. It has for me
All my AKs use either Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian or FB Radom barrels… honestly the best accuracy is almost a tie between Polish FB Radom and Bulgarian with the edge going to the FB Radom, which is why I use them in 100% of my builds. The lower end is the Romanian barrel and that shoots 2.5” so that tells you something. Russian rifle (at least mine) shoots about 1.5” and the Bulgarian and Polish shoot 1”-1.25”. These comments only apply to 7.62x39 and I have experience with a variety of other barrel types but these were the big 3 that I go looking for. Also it should be noted that my Bulgarian barrel accuracy is out of 3 different sam7 rifles so there may be other factors at play, I no longer own any Bulgarian commercial stamped rifles in 7.62x39 but when I had one I got roughly 2” out of a 107FR if I remember correctly.
It’s only one AK, the one made by Russians, the rest are modified replicas. The polish never produced any modified replica, they got their from Russia. All Balkan countries got a modified replica made by Romanians. What you have in the USA are different modified replicas made there. Not one of this weapons made in east are made to be used with a scope. For that is a totally different weapon. And if you can’t hit a target with an AK or Romanian replica at a least 1.000 m you are the worst shooter, so stop complaining
