Thank you for the feedback and your support to the channel by SUB :P regarding your question: THE CPU /GPU are none upgradable they are BGA CHIP and they are soldered on motherboard, and the motherboard has components build for that specific CPU and voltage and power regulators are in effect.
yes you can just remove everything and only istall any ssd 2.5" amzn.to/38x2vT2 or have both on ssd , it better to have all SSDs, the best configuration would be as follows: have your windows OS on m.2 ssd and install a ssd 2.5 instead of the mechanical *much faster , for your applications and games this was the windows wont have any bottleneck on the speed and it will be 4x faster when using applications. if you have your os and files on the same drive (ssd or mechanical) it will be slower because the windows and your apps / games have to share the same sata speed. therefore have os on m.2 and apps/ games on ssd and use your mechanical hdd as external storage.
Hi, I recently tried to upgrade from the HDD to SSD. I installed the SSD and installed the Windows 10 OS. But, after a restart the cooling fan stared continuously unstable, I tried the SSD with win7 also, but he fan speed and noise continued. I had to go back to the HDD. Can you pls help me with any solution for this fan noise issue with SSD ?
Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your question, the fan curve has nothing to do with HDD or SSD , you may have to download the alienware software, after windows installation.
🫠Regarding your question, yes the OS only requires one SSD where it is installed to run. Should you have any further questions or requests in the future, please don't hesitate to ask me. cheers🍻

There is no M.2 drive connection. There is a MSATA port, the 2.5" where the HDD is from factory, or you can put another 2.5" SATA drive where the Optical Drive (DVD) is located with a caddy tray upgrade. So you can use : 1. MSATA SSD 2. 2.5" SATA SSD The MSATA is a simple fast swap without removing anything unless there was a small caching msata drive from the factory. Any 2.5" SATA SSD will be the right dimensions to replace the HDD from factory.
