In my opinion, they really need to connect the path under Stealth's launch to Swarm Island. It can easily be done, and the next ride can go on the Island next to the Swarm, as it would fit brilliantly and improve convenience.

Stegosaurus we can't convert any of our woodies because they are either too good (Megafobia), are too small and/or well themed (Wicker Man and Antelope) or are heritage rides (every other one). It would have to be a ground up or Raptor. Who would do it? Thorpe Park would fit both. I honestly think Oakwood could try for a Raptor if they fair well after the pandemic.

It’s always confused me how the name ‘Stealth’ and the design of the logo don’t fit in at all with anything else to do with the ride :/. A great coaster anyway!
Could be the name of someone's vehicle?
I mean maybe it’s called stealth because it’s swift - because it’s definitely not quiet!

They had (and have) a lot of nimbys who didn't want them building it, so they painted it white to blend in with the sky and called it Stealth. That's my theory lol

You should review The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley. Its probs the UKs most unique rollercoaster and deffo deserves more attention! 🙂

@@jelly4208 trust me when I say the POV doesnt do it justice, theres not really any other rollercoaster like it out there. From it's two large drops, to its manic journey through the forest, its length and strange layout. It's a very unique ride, plus not many rides are part built by British Rail 🤣
I love watchin these videos, but it makes me more sad/excited/anxious because I'm watchin loads of themepark content and it's makin me not be able to wait till after this quarantine uuuhhujuuuu

I'll never forget when I had that VIP trip to Thorpe back in 2016, I rode Stealth, and they didn't play the announcement. The ride operator was taunting us, before saying "Bye!" and sending us off. It was hilarious! Got two back to back front row rides on Inferno too! Result!

I was actually on a roll-back on Stealth a good few years back! Was more enjoyable than normal Stealth!

I enjoy stealth!! The first time I rode it in 2013 let’s just say I said a certain word to my mum and held on tight with both hands!! Now I’m a hands in the air like I just don’t care rider!! Front row at night is a completely different experience as you don’t know when you’re going down!!
Loving the reviews 👍. Would be brilliant to watch your thoughts with some ‘whole park’ reviews on the small family owned parks. In light of the news from M&Ds it would be great to support the smaller parks.
Also, would be great to take part in one of your quizzes with all questions based on the small family owned parks like Lightwater, Pleasurewood Hills, Oakwood etc

The area will be like a 1950's American street, complete with a diner.
Stealth is amazing. The launch is one hell of a big shot of adrenaline. Feels like my body is back in the station when I’m up at the top. Love the drop down and brief views at the top. Great at night too when it’s all lit up

I wanna experience a roll back on stealth too. But i think theme park enthusiasts would’ve enjoyed Rameses Revenge spinning forwards like no joke on its last day (nov 3) i went on in the dark and it failed to spin back and it spun forwards it felt strange but really happy cuz i always thought it did something like that 😂😱
It's been 10 years since I rode Stealth for the first time, and every single time I ride it, it NEVER gets old, and I've ridden it quite a lot! The best coaster at Thorpe Park one the best launch coasters I've ridden. Love it to bits!

My Favorite thing about Stealth is when you are in the Queue and you hear it go over and you hear the fences shaking from the speed I love that sound
It sure does make a loud noise!
Stealth-something you need if Shawn is nearby because if you are spotted he will scream

I’m very lucky to have been on TTD and KK, but equally glad we have a little sister here in the UK 🙂
I've not done TTD (yet) but did get to ride KK in 2012 and have been to Ferrari Land at Port Aventura a couple of times to ride Red Force (which I think is LSM launch rather than hydraulic-winch). My poor hubby doesn't like coasters in general but he really likes these ones - fast-tall-tophat-down-hill-brakes-DONE is the perfect formula for him! Have yet to take him on Stealth though as I normally do Thorpe Park with a much more coaster-minded friend.
How frightening are they with the height and launch? Also, do they make you feel like you are collapsing like a lot of other coasters do?
They are both awesome coasters!
@@user-yn1bd4yf3h that depends on what else you've ridden. Comparing them to something like Nemesis Inferno they're like a sugar rush VS a balanced meal.

@@MattFowlerBTR I've also done TTD & KK in 2012. Both Great Coasters, however I prefer Kingda Ka because the launch is more intense atleast from personal experience. However Dragster has a fantastic view at the top.

There's a certain charm to Stealth for me. The first time I rode it I was instantly in love with it. I agree lap bars would make it so much better, along with rides like Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, but I can't wait to go again next year!

Lap bars on an invert? Is that a thing?? Stealth is definitely charming, it's one of the true thrill rides in the UK for people who are a bit more jaded and used to coasters. Never fails to make me leave me with the giggles.
Apparently Stealths launch is the 3rd fastest accelerating coaster in the world world after Do-Dodompa and Flug Van Novgorod

Close, but Maxx Force took its place last year, it’s still the 4th fastest acceleration

According to Wikipedia, Maxx Force launches 0 to 78 mph in 2 secs, Stealth launches 0 to 80 mph in 1.9 seconds.
Nothing in it but it still counts ;)
I love this ride. No matter how many times you ride it you never get used to that acceleration in my opinion. Just sat there waiting for the lights you know exactly what's coming but every time it shoots off its still such a shock the speed of it. Love it 😀

My experience with accelerator coasters has only been with the very first one Intamin ever built, Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm. I enjoyed it immensely and I hope to go on the much higher strata coasters such as Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka sometime in the future.

Beat launch coaster in the UK on the ride it is just so much fun
I have got myself a piece of BPB's Wild Mouse to add to my collection and to keep me occupied. It includes parts of 16 ships of days gone by, Concorde, SR-71 Blackbird, Wicker Man ride wood, fossils and many more bits. A piece of a vanished roller coaster is a welcome addition.
I have a Ferrari F40 owner's manual and a Bugatti Veyron speed key presentation case.
And no speed key to go in the case :-p

tbh I like the lack of a roof on the station.
Let's think about it:
* Everyone on the train can clearly see the top hat
* Feels relatively not imposing at the same time
* It honestly has a rather nice chilled vibe to it (idk how to best say it) and goes well with the theming (after all, who ever heard of a racetrack under a roof?)

Love love love this ride! First time was so scary but once over that top hat fear turned to joy! I'd ride it everyday if I could. Love watching it too.
Love this ride, Thorpe's number 1 imo. I went a few nights towards the end of the season, and i gotta say truely the best team working on a coaster ive seen. They had such high spirits and joking with the riders. But when it was quiet they open the gate and let you constantly reride. I did it 14times in a row.
It sure is a great coaster to re-ride!

Was planning to go to Thorpe park this year but sadly due to what’s going on unfortunately can’t. Hopefully next year I can go though
I'm a big fan of Stealth, I feel like it's quite a pure experience - no muss, no fuss, just a super fast, fun and intense coaster. I do agree about the theming - the theming elements they have there work really nicely but it could definitely be added to so that the area felt a bit less like a concrete corner. Despite that, it's still probably one of my favourite coasters in the UK to be honest, because I always walk off it with a huge goofy grin on my face.

Hey Sean did you know. Stealth used to be called The edge. they changed it to stealth for some reason.

I really enjoy Stealth. It’s a pure adrenaline rush. Only ever been when busy so had to sit mid train, but still worth it. You can’t go to Thorpe and miss it out. Absolutely agree about how intimidating it looks. I can only begin to imagine what looking up at Top Thrill Dragster or Kingda Ka must feel like!

The launch packs such a punch and then into some airtime on the top hat grate ride short but sweet. I am a fan of the theme but I agree birds really detracts from the whole experience. the ride and its theme are solid, can wait to get back on it.
The launch of Stealth is like the sudden drop tower drop. Feels like the heart is about to come out.

After I got back from Cedar Point I went to Thorpe Park and my view of Stealth was it was so small ;) I enjoy riding it though. Front Seat ride for me but I count the front seat queue before joining it.

I know he reports more so of the demise of rides/parks but these reviews very much remind me of Expedition Theme Park content which is fantastic!

I love a launch coaster... nothing feels quite like it. I remember when I was younger (but even now still) how terrified you get in the queue line. I love that the theming was happy. Other theming for rides was always scary. But it still made me the most frightened. It's the anticipation of a launch
Best coaster in the uk by far
I used to go up and down on the M3 a lot through my childhood and teen years. I can remember the log flume being visible from the motorway and over time, it was overshadowed by the various other rides as they went up (and the trees growing, too!). But Stealth still looks amazing. I've never much cared for it, I've been pretty unlucky with it being broken or closed on my trips to the park so I've only been able to ride it a couple of times. It always felt... cold... to me? I'm not sure if this is because of the theming choices, the duration of the ride or what. But it's never been one I've particularly enjoyed. It's still pretty fun though!

Great review, Sean, and good to see you at Thorpe Park yesterday. Stealth is a great ride, but the name never made any sense to me. “Stealth” means to carry out an action secretly, so as not to be detected. Doesn’t seem the right word to describe the fastest accelerating coaster, with a loud American raceway theme 🤔 Nothing Stealthy about it 🤣
The seat is comfortable I just wish there was more leg room because the seats are quite low in the train
I love that the queue goes right underneath the launch. By the time you've looked up, it's almost gone!

My all time fav coaster this. First went on when I was 11 or 12 and I didn’t even want to go on, I only did to spite a friend of mine who really wanted to ride! 2 n half hours of queueing and slowly turning white with fear but what an experience! Can remember it like it was yesterday 😁

Went on Stealth last year for the first time with my best mate. As we were waiting to launch I ask a lady in the queue gates what the time was, she look at her watch just as we launched. Couldn’t stop laughing through the whole ride. 😂😂😂
I’ve never been to Thorpe Park. The only parks I have been to in my life are Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Drayton Manor and Gullivers (that depends). I haven’t been to a lot but I do know a lot! Also, enjoyed the review. Keep up the great work! 👍

Sat on the second row on the front car. Did it 5 times and the air time was crazy at the top of the top hat. Love the airtime and love the intensity. The Swarm and Stealth are my favourite coasters at Thorpe Park with Stealth being just ahead of The Swarm.
Please would you be able to do a colossus review as it’s one of my favourite coasters at Thorpe park (even though I haven’t rid it because I’ve never been to Thorpe park but I like its design and the ride itself) also love your videos keep up the good work! :)

0-82?? I knew they got the acceleration up way back in 2007, but I never knew they increased the speed? If it is indeed 82mph, maybe that means Hyperia will be 83mph! haha
I remember the first time I took my wife to Thorpe park we went on stealth 1st she hated it shes terrified of heights but she loved it now probably her favourite ride in the park

OF the three accelerator coasters I've ridden in chronological order Top Thill Dragster, Stealth and Xcellerator; Stealth is my least favourite. However: Kudos for focusing on the front and back cars. I'd imagine my favourite accelerator coasters would be would be TTD and Storm Runner.
These rides are short but honestly so intense and just in my opinion generally great experiences! But stealth in particular seems intense and just fun!

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Stealth is 100% the best coaster in the UK!
Is there a difference between Intamin's Rocket and Accelerator models? I always figured the Rocket models were hydraulic and the Accelerator models were magnetic
It’s a tough one was some people do call accelerators, rocket coasters!
