Always love watching your videos. I have NOOOO experience in any welding, or body work at all and watching your videos gives me confidence to do it myself. I picked up a 73 mustang grande in April as I’ve always wanted a classic muscle to restore myself and pass on to my kids. So far from watching your videos the body work is coming along great and I’m motivated to do more. Thanks to your detailed explanations I’ve been able to recreate panels with basic tools in my garage.
I've been welding for better than 50+ years myself and I do ALL kinds of weld Farm & Ranch type (pipe Fencing) and I do Mild steel and Body and Fender type to. YOU WATCH this man and YOU WILL learn How To do it correctly, 0ne other thing (if You don't mind me butting in) When You buy a Welder Please Don't go buy a Cheap one, Save up and Buy a Quility Brand Name Welding machine that my advise for the machine. My wire Mig is bout 39 Years now and looks New keep it clean and LEARN How it WORK's inside UnPLUG it anytime You need to go inside it to change the wire. 0h, and I buy the LONG LEAD's for it too so you can slide under something and Don't have to get up and move your welding machine.....I HOPE this Helps YOU.

I gained all my skills by watching other people I had a basic natural ability and I built on it by keeping my mouth shut and keeping my eyes open and buying coffee for people clean their stalls and befriending them so they would feel comfortable showing me their stuff I figure if I can’t learn something new every day it’s a shitty day
I am 84 yrs old, never too old to learn. I would like to see the how you form a double curve in sheet metal. I have a 37 pu and the front chin below the grill is rusted out. I think others might be interested also. You do a great job in making your programs.
I used panels from other cars with same shapes to replace a double curve section. Smaller sections I make by hand and join threw the middle of the curve
Thanks Fitzee, i love that you share your skills so openly and in a way which is easy to understand! I have a tip for you about your marker pen. If you unscrew the end, you will be able to remove the felt tip using some pliers, turn it around and refit it and you'll have a brand new tip.

Don I hear you loud and clear! Many years back in the 70's I used to drop the F bomb in every sentence and my eight years elder big brother called me on it and I was so used to it I did not even know I was doing it. He said to me "people swear because they don't have the intelligence to use the PROPER words". That hit me like a wall of wisdom and I have hardly ever sworn since and find it quite repulsive hearing people do it. Shocks me how people/public figures tend to use every word in the slang dictionary no matter who they are in front of. To me it just screams low class.

Great tip about how to do the rear fender lip - it seems such a logical thing to do when you explain it, but it never crossed my mind before! It will save me a lot of time mucking about when I replace the rear outer rockers and part of the lower rear quarter on my Triumph Stag.
Wow perfect timing for me to find your videos. I am doing a restoration on an 82 BMW 320i. I can use this video to help as I am just starting to replace the metal and its all new to me, my experience is repair cars not restoring. So, thanks for the in-depth teaching on forming the metal.
Love it when you were welding the rocker end cap spot welds the camera picked of what looks like a tesla acre & smoke never noticed that before reminded me of some weird science experiment. LOL. Thoroughly enjoy your vids. Here in Indiana they use beat juice that tears up sheet metal. Every thing 8 years old or older have rocker & fender lip rot. Learned some new methods watching. Thanks.

Your work is jaw dropping. I watch a lot of builds where the key words are "it's not awful", "pretty good", "it'll do" and "good enough". I like those guys a lot. It is refreshing to see perfection personified. Alan Millyard and junkerup are very good. You are right up there with them.
I have learned so much from watching you, which has given me the confidence in rebuilding a rusty old car now. I know I can rebuild what I thought used to be impossible. When I first started repairing panels I self taught and did the same methods as you, when I saw how the coach builders did it I thought my techniques were wrong! Now I see there's more than 1 way to get it done, awesome work fitzee, learning alot from the tips and tricks

I've started doing body work on it and your videos give me a lot of motivation and inspiration. My skills aren't nearly as good as yours but I am getting better. I bent my first piece of steel today ever...It looks like s**t fortunately I am patching an inner rocker so it won't matter too much. I am doing the body work on a 1966 Chevy van. Sooo much rust and bondo and fiberglass. It's crazy. Macco auto body quoted me between 10 and 12 thousand dollars for them to fix it all. By the time I get it all done I should be pretty good, lol.
