This video helped me update mine, but for some reason the Airware app was on an older version and NOT auto-updating, despite other apps auto-updating (and the box being checked). Was strange, but the occasional hiccup is no big deal - I'm sure they'll continue to get ironed out.

Hello, after updating the ix12 to v1.04.05 build 92 I can´t import models any more. The UI in the model selection changed. Is there any fix?
Let's wait for the V2, guess will be free from most of the technical issues . The ix20'looking outstanding but not every one need 20 channels and too $$$.
Why does the battery go dead really fast with this radio. I am trying to help a fellow club member with his IX12. Will the update help or he might have a dud battery.

Half of my models have disappeared from the list when updating to 2.00.83. Is there anyway to restore those not backed up? Maybe the update should auto backup incase someone forgets...

A friend of mine lost all his saved models after updating this radio. Too bad!... This is a really expensive radio, why is it so full of problems like those! 🤦🏾♂️
I have one, but haven't done any updates fearing messing up my radio to a point of no return!
Updated Airware, and Airware asks me "Channel Processor firmware needs to be updated. RF will be disabled temporarily." I press proceed and nothing happens. ????
At that point you should see a loading bar appear and fill up, then it will give you notification that update is complete and to restart app. If you are not getting that, we suggest to turn off radio, take out battery to do a hard power off, then put all back in and try again. Hope that helps!
It would be nice if there was a PC software to configure all in transmitter, because the "onboard" android table is so fucking slow to work with, also WHY does keyboard "buzz" every time its touched., that so annoying
Updated to newest firmware and lost half my models. Not happy. used my sd card to import models and that does not work either. Not happy. Im about ready to jump to Jumper and sell this pos to some pour soul
after updating ix12 airware app..when going to do CP update on ix12 airware app it asks me "Channel Processor firmware needs to be updated. RF will be disabled temporarily." I press proceed and nothing happens. I kept pressing proceed then finally it vibrated and proceeded to do the CP update. Just FYI in case someone else runs into this problem. I assume if someone else kept clicking the proceed button it will eventually work for others as well. Hopefully they can fix that in the next update.
You have to press and hold the button until it vibrates to allow it to proceed. It’s designed that way to insure you don’t accidentally turn off the RF
Great, you added an update but the radio won’t update anymore or connect to the internet.
☠BLACK BARON☠ What did Spektrum do over the Winter 2023/2024 with their Software Updates? I no longer hear the sound when I start my heli. The "Binding Piep Piep Piep" on startup no longer works with my FC6250HX. Software Engineers ... are you done with Software App updates and Google Android updates?
