  • We went on a VERY RAINY camping trip to Seal Rocks. Despite the rain though it was quite beautiful. We visited the Grandis AKA the tallest tree in NSW, it's well worth stopping in if you are close by.
We visited Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse (or as Monique calles it, Sugarpoint Loaf Lighthouse) and enjoyed the amazing panoramic views.
We stayed at Yagon Campground where some daring bush turkeys kept us pretty entertained by nipping the tails of the huge goannas. This campground is a short walk to submarine beach where you can find lots of fossils.

Seen the signs for this tree when I passed by and always meant to go have a look but never got around to it..... Next time for sure.... Seal Rocks is one of my favourite places. LOL never seen the brush turkey chase a lace monitor before....

It’s a beautiful tree to visit, a true giant. Those turkeys were very brave hahah! We hope next time we camp at seal rocks we get better weather, that place is just magic on a clear summers day. Thank you for watching ❤️

I think we are all on the same page just wishing the rain would give us a break. Hard to believe 2 years ago we were coming out of fires and intense drought! Hope you are well and safe!

@@Vinceventuring We tried with the walls we have but they are grey and kind of reflective. Didn't work too well but better than nothing ha

My uncle lives not too far from there at a place called soldiers point it’s like a blinking paradise lol. How the other half lives. I’ll make a point of checking out seal bay next time I’m up there. I’m so jealous lol

Soldiers point is stunning, it feels like it should be much further north that is it, absolute paradise. Seal Rocks is absolutely worth checking out, if you get it on a clear day it’s pure magic!
