Hi, we are the Vincents (AKA Monique, Nick and baby Owen).
We live in Lake Macquarie NSW Australia and love to explore the great outdoors any chance we get! We try to fill life up to the brim with travel, nature and adventure while we travel around.
In our free time we are off hiking, camping, learning about native plants and animals and generally just enjoy being outside as much as possible!
Our big dream is to spend a year or more traveling with our little one (or little ones by then), watch as we do our best to make this dream a reality.

Hi! What does your little one sleep in whilst in the tent? Does he have a bassinet, co sleeping, or…? We’ve just had a little one ourselves and are trying to figure out our rtt setup.
@@AlidaV at first we pooped him in a little “sleep positioner” so we wouldn’t slip down and had him over to one side but honestly as time went on we got much more confident with safe co sleeping and just had him in bed with us in the middle and he had his own sleep suit so no blanket, that always worked well for us while he was little and as he grew he just slept under the sleeping bags with us.
Really nice video 🥹 I like camping 🏕️ One question, I need to pay to camping in this area?
@@adventuresjp thanks so much. This was a camp you have to hook through NSW national parks but I think it was only about $6, very cheap!
Awesome spot guys and a great video thanks for sharing 😊
@@Brockosoutandabout that’s for watching, we loved this trip
I tried this walk during June long weekend. Went from Wentworth Falls station and gave up at Leura Cascades before walking to Katoomba station. I was a bit disappointed with all the detours.
@@noisynobody we copped a bit of flack for whinging about the detours but it was disappointing when you go to a newly opened walk and it’s really not done yet. Still had a great time just not what we were expecting.
How much it cost?
@@videoshub8055 about $600 I think
OMG, What a surprise! 😂
@@GrabLifeByTheGourlays 😂
Cooler southern regions.🥺
the new iphone events after leaks looks like:
I was about to get emotional lol
Can you camp at long plain campsite in July
@@jerryrubinek8905 I would check NPWS website but I wouldn’t think so, I think that area gets all snowed under.
where can we book the boat trip?
I believe it’s called pennicot tours. Was incredible.
My very favourite walk in the whole of Australia. Never seen it that wet though, just amazing. Have seen lyre birds on this walk a couple of times. Have not done it since all those concrete plinths have been put in to protect the track from erosion due to wear, so looks very different. It's also a walk you can only access with a car as the hop on and off buses do not service Blackheath!
It’s such a great walk isn’t it. I’ve done it many times and it has a way of looking and feeling different each time ❤️
it looked amazing! I was wondering if you know if there’s any way to drive close to the river instead of hiking? We’re thinking of going with the kids, so a long hike might be a bit much. Also, is it okay for a day trip, and do you need to book anything, or can we just pay an entry fee and walk in? Thanks a ton! 😊
@@mikehtel5105 all the info should be on national parks website. I believe you have to park where we did and hike in but it’s a very easy flat hike, completely doable with kids. I think if you just did a day trip would be ok to not book but if you’re setting up a tent I’d make sure you book, thanks so much for watching ❤️
Awesome video mate. Thanks for sharing!
@@onthefencefilm thanks so much for watching. We had such a great time on this hike
I love to go there and it is amazing !
Such a fantastic spot isn’t it
I've smelt the Colo Yetti. It was worse than three weeks of crotch rot doing Jungle Warfare Training. Beware and never go back to Colo.
Love your videos, they are so cool. Brilliant channel. I’ve done some of the walks you guys do around the Blue Mountains and the Snowy Mountains and I’m inspired to try some of the trails you explore that I haven’t. My grandson and I are off to explore the caves around Yarrangobilly next week and l’m looking forward to following some of your tips. Thanks.
@@Archaeologistt that is so so so lovely to say, you’ve made our day ❤️ Yarrangobilly is amazing! Make sure you pack your swimmers for a dip in the hot (warm) spring! All the best for your upcoming amazing adventures 🥰
Tnx for sharing! Might postpone doing this walk until trail is more completed! Hope knees are restored💪
Definitely recommend waiting a bit just to make sure you can actually do the whole thing, stunning walk regardless and happy to say the knees are back to normal 😂😂 thanks for watching
So sorry. We had so much rain it caused landslides everywhere. Try later. I have done that walk, the full one in one day many times before but if you enjoy a beastly walk go the bottom walk, it is two days but exceptional.
Ahh closures happen, it was just unfortunate it wasn’t updated online properly or we might have waited to do it but honestly, how can you ever not enjoy a blue mountains walk! It’s just gods country isn’t it ❤️ that 2 day walk sounds fantastic, we don’t mind a challenge. Might be next on our list! Thanks for watching 😄
steep ? that's not steep
It was after a chest infection 😂😅
18km - paved and curated paths = 1 day.
Yeah it was very easy. Beautiful views too.
haha I'm nearly 70 and hadn't hiked in months and did Gordon Falls to Echo Point a month ago. And I have a crook hip
@@wendycayless that’s a fantastic walk, I swear once you’re walking the momentum and enjoyment of being outside just takes you on your merry way
WoW! That’s Lovely! Absolutely Stunning And Breathtaking! 🫶🏻🤩❤️✨
Thank you that’s so lovely to say.
Oh wow fantastic video, so much water at the Grand Canyon. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching ❤️❤️
Hero 7 - Is the wind cut on for sound?
If you have the little wind muff on it does but honestly it’s the most unreliable camera I’ve ever owned, ove had it replaced 3x it’s very faulty and so is the Volta.
The 11 that is, the 7 the quality of vid and audio isn’t as good because it’s older but the camera is much more reliable
Nice one guys as always. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve ❤️
So glad I stumbled across your vid . Really keen to check out that area
Honestly you’re going to love it. I could go back 100 times and not be sick of it. Thank you for watching ❤️
Looks great, we are looking at a road trip next April for about a week, haven't decided on a direction yet, so who knows "south" might be nice
@@Twoaussieguys honestly south is the best. So many amazing places to see.
@@Vinceventuring Might pic your brains when we start planning.
Looks very cosy and that sunset looked pretty magical! 🙌🏾 Was the stream cold at all, did you dip your toes in?
@@GrabLifeByTheGourlays was really lovely and cozy in the cabin and the water was icy in the river
Great Video Guys!
@@paddling_wombat thank you, was such a relaxing trip
Seapools might be better. So manly good ones.
It never ceases to amaze me how many incredible places we have right in our backyard, so lucky.
Eden has to be the best place to visit
The south coast has so many gems 😍 we love it
Nice one guys. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve, now to finish the other 5 or so videos I have filmed 😂🤪
Nice one guys. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve ❤️❤️
Nice video guys!
Thanks so much, such a pretty place, shame we weren’t there very long but we made the most of it ❤️
@@Vinceventuring I grew up in SA but never made the trip across to KI, or paddled in SA. You have given me some great ideas for my next trip back.
@@paddling_wombat crazy that Owen and I haven’t been to SA besides Kangaroo Island. Very keen to see that the mainland has to offer. I feel like there is so much to see and do on KI, it’s absolutely stunning.
@@Vinceventuring KI looks like the rest of peninsula, I'm sure you would love Mclaren vale, Goolwa, Victor harbour (baby penguins) also murray bridge, hahndorf and the barossa.
I wouldn’t leave the cruise ship for Port Arthur a place of cruelty and pain is not my entertainment
I can understand it’s not for everyone, we personally liked getting a glimpse into history, all be it dark, it was good to learn and reflect.
We did a port arthur/ hobart cruise few years ago... port arthur was amazing/ creepy at the same time.... then you go to where the cafe was and see the port arthur massacre memorial and think what a waste of life
The whole place is just haunting isn't it. Was a fantastic cruise stop!
What is time stamp of her in g string please
Hii, my husband and i are also going camping this summer with our 3 month old baby🥰 Can i ask: where is your baby sleeping? In the rooftop tent with you two?
He sure was. We just co sleep like we do at home. Our roof top tent is the size of a king bed so it feels no different than being in our bad at home❤
I have h4 black.. h7 black .. her 5 session.. Fusion... If you avoid using the Electronic Image Stabilization EIS/Hyper smooth.. i use a removu s1 gimbal.... you will achieve better low light.. dynamic color range. exposure etc... Especially if you guys use GoPro labs to increase the bit rate My H7 black has better color than the new DJI and insta cameras... Also they dont run hot.. only warm
This gives me faith. Itching to go camping but trying to work out the logistics with a 4mth old
Honestly it’s not as hard as you think. If you ever want to pick my brain about it send us a message on Insta!
I love Tassie. 😍
Such a special place. This was our 4th time in Hobart and won’t be our last visit to Tas that’s for sure
@Vinceventuring Yeah, I've been to Tassie twice and would love to do the campervanning or catch the SOT and drive my ute around and check out the camp-sites all over Tassie. 😍
@berniemac3377 would LOVE to do a family camper van trip next time we go 😍
@@Vinceventuring I'll look forward to the videos. 😍👌🏽
@berniemac3377 haha you’re giving us too much motivation to actually make it a reality 🤔
Woah the boat trip looks amazing! I'm considering to take a boat trip with Pennicott Wilderness Tours, and I see that there are two options: Tasman Island and Bruny Island. I was wondering if you had done a research on the difference between the two?
Mostly the scenery and wildlife you’ll see, this one left from bear port Arthur. Highly recommend the Tasman island one, spectacular tour
@@Vinceventuring Awesome! Can't wait for the trip
Nice clip guys, better weather then when I was there last. Hopefully good weather this weekend when Im there again. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve! I’m hoping for beautiful weather for you!!!
Looks beautiful there guys! Nice spot to stay :) Owen is just soo sweet!!
Thanks so much for watching. Owen is a massive sweet heart ❤️
Hi guys! Great video. Inspiring us to head to Barrington Tops. Look forward to the next one😁
So much beauty in the Barringtons.
Hi what rooftop tent are you using?
This is the I kamper Skycamp 2.0 4X and we love it
@@Vinceventuring Thank you. I thought I saw something on the front saying ryder
Wow they must be very nice RTT. They where all around $5000 mark.
@@Ranger_Troy I think when we bought ours it was around $4200, expensive for sure but we love it and it has been pretty reliable and comfy.
Thanks for the beautiful video, loved it ❤
so glad you loved it! Thank you!
