To Aya Forever. I noticed myself there are many You tubers who over time became very arrogant and self-confident. However, Yana is the only one, I find, that is staying very modest. Maybe you didn't watch all her videos, but she mentioned in one of them that she doesn't speak French. Obviously she put her effort into learning how to pronounce the names and the brands. On the contrary there are other You tubers who find it easy by just saying "Sorry for butchering the name". Well, I say "Sorry for not taking that extra effort and do what Yana does, especially if you decide to post something publicly." Just a little tip. Every country I visit, before I go, I take my time and learn some basic sentences in their language. It always makes a good impression and people welcome you with open arms. Great video Yana. Thank you for making me spending more money, hahaha. The only fragrance I own is Kelly Caleche, very classy. YOUR FRENCH, BY THE WAY SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL.

my favorite leather/suede scent is the original Bottega veneta. It is one of the few leather scents that doesn't turn metallic and cold on my skin. It is a classy scent with peppery opening and oakmoss in the drydown plus two notes i can only enjoy under very specific circumstances namely patchouli (never with sweet notes) and jasmin(not too much).
Yes I love that one as well! I also love the eau de Velours. I just tried to keep this list limited to beginner leather /under $100 and I think the Bottega Veneta is a bit more

I also love Bottega Venetta, and I have been able to get a 1.7oz bottle for around $65. And my husband loves the smell and I am going to try layering it with a sweeter fragrance to see how it works.
Good reviews and scent notes. I remember I was in an elevator at work and a nice Woman got on at the next floor and asked me if I had on a leather jacket earlier today. I had just put on a drop of Tom Ford Ombre' Leather (1ml vial ) 😏 She said she wished there were "perfumes" like that for her. - And now I know what to tell her / plus some I could wear too.
Oh yeah I love ombre leather!! Yes, these are all fragrances she could try (and you as well). I made it specifically for leather beginners and under $100 so there are some gems missing which I will include in a future leather video 😊
You're my girl. The fragrances you reviewed I have found for $99-125. I wore Calèche in 2004. I haven't tested Kelly Calèche, but ordered it 3 days ago. I can't wait to see how it compares to the original Calèche, which I can't find. Again, loved your reviews on affordable, yet sophisticated fragrances. I bought 2 bottles of different Cartièr fragrances. One, they smell too masculine; two, they both cost me well over $100. I'm returning both to Macy's on tomorrow. CELESTE, in the ATL 🌿
My order--Kelly Cartièr--was delivered WED & I'm very pleased. It's a sophisticated scent that's safe for wearing to the office. I've paired it with Jadore's Body Milk Lotion and Carolina Herrera's Good Girl Body Cream. It's beautiful--not too strong. CELESTE, in the ATL (•‿•)
Ange ou Demon looks blue on their website now. Does it smell the same? I liked how you described it being sexy and unique but I've never smelled it before. I liked musc noir by narciso rodriguez but it's poorly made and just slightly grandmotherish but beautiful. Kelly sounds interesting too. I love the smell of new leather bags and vintage lipstick so why not combine them? Serge Lutens Le Fille De Berlin is a jammy rose with a bit of dust/soil which I like but it feels incomplete. It got me to thinking sweet floral + leather/suede would be really nice. Looking for a luxury fragrance that purrrs, makes you want to wear a black dress and a red lip without issues like a horrible alcohol opening, poor sillage, poor lasting power, being headachey sweet, being powdery, has oud accords which are disgusting to me, or drying down into a single boring accord rather than the lovely ensemble of the frag that drew you in the first place. I've sampled so many fragrances from Xerjoff, to MFK, Alien, Dior, Swiss Arabian, Parfum de Marly, and so many others but haven't found anything that I really loved or understood why so many say there's sex appeal to X or Y scent. Black Opium is too sweet, Bacarat 540 smells like cotton candy and band-aids, Delina is just sickly rhubarb, Tom Fords frag all have oud. HELP!!!! lol
I agree totally about Daim Blond. I was really surprised how it smelled- not like described by others but exactly what you said. Unofortunately it lasts all of an hour one me.
Not gonna lie, I have long note, which I keep updating as I watch your videos. I have only used two perfumes till now. Green tea by Elizabeth Arden and Strawberry by the body shop. Though I have started using body mist these days from bath and body works *cringing as I write this*
Which Kelly Caleche do you like better? I am bold I'm not afraid to wear bold fragrance. I don't really care for soft and powdery. But I've been looking for a nice feminine leather fragrance. I was recommended Kelly Caleche, but I can't find the differences between the EDT and EDP. Which one do you prefer? After letting me say that I like bolder..?
Hey beautiful! This video is perfect for me! I don’t typically like the leather note in fragrances. There are a few exceptions. I love Black Perfecto and Spirito Fiorentino by Tiziana Terenzi. Thank you for reviewing more fragrances that I can enjoy! 💕😘
I have a few easy to wear leather fragrances in my collection and they are among my favourites. The Fan Di Fendi Extreme is probably my most leathery and I find it very sexy. For the more pretty, girly leather I really like Signorina Eleganza, Ange Ou Demon Le Parfum and La Petite Robe Noir Black Perfecto (great choices).

Of course I have BR Black platinum but I found another leather one from the Icon collection this past weekend. It's the "Leather Reserve" one again I got it for $20 bucks at Burlington. I havent tested it enough yet but on initial sniff I think I'm going to like it. I'm wondering if this one smells like Bvlgari Black but ive never smelled that one. I've bought a few others from the icon collection over the last few months also. I have 9 now haha, I've found them all at Burlington for $20 bucks. I am really liking leather notes in scents also. I've smelled leather reserve before and I don't think it smells like Bvlgari black, I don't even know what else to compare it to 🤔. I wish we had Burlington here in Canada! When I'm allowed to cross the border to shop I'm definitely making a bee line to Burlington 😂

Daim blond is a masterpiece. Tells a story but can't pick out the individual notes. It's like a fine 3 course meal with a blindfold on. LOVE IT.

I'm not a big fan of leather, but I do like some fragrances with this note such as Sleek Swede and Black Perfecto by Guerlain, the one you mentioned.

What is the difference then btwn Ludic and Eau de Memo - more tea scent? - which do you prefer?
I haven't tried eau de memo in a long time, but from what I recall they're almost identical

Tough to rank, all are very well made. It's really a matter of preference. Personally my fave rose oud combo is oud satin mood by MFK
