I do, it's been my signature scent also since it came out in 2011!!!! I get so many compliments on it, I absolutely love it!! I just tried Illusione for Her by Bottega and I am in love with it!
Yes! I was just reading about this last night and reminded myself of what a great fragrance it was, vowing to seek it out next week when I get a day off work. I remember thinking the same as you when I last sprayed it, wondering how something so great could remain so under the radar and lacking in general hype. And again, I see things your way: I'm glad it's an obscure sleeper hit rather than an over exposed monstrosity online (cough cough Portrait of a Lady, Delina...;D)
@@nicholew3569 You're a treasure trove, I'm going to track this one down ASAP. I need you on speed dial for all olfactory conundrums and emergencies; I'll call you directly from Jovoy or Harrods all flustered and your sage succinct advice will steer me to glory, I have no doubt. Thanks Nichole! :)
Tom Ford Ombre Leather is my absolute favorite. The lasting power on my skin is insane! I went to a festival & I literally could still smell it in me 3 days later! Thank God bc I probably would have smelled horribly otherwise! 😅
I loved this video! I'm currently hunting for a 'best in show' leather-forward fragrance to add to my collection and the variety of personality when it comes to a leather fragrance is HUGE. I'm overwhelmed by the hunt so these videos are really helpful and such a cheerful distraction from my more serious online research and reading. Thank you! So far I'm experimenting all over the spectrum and have got my personal reference binary worked out, with the formidable patriarch Knize Ten glowering at one end like a tweedy Austrian aristocrat who got caught in a downpour on the way to the members club, and down the other end I have the sweet cloying leathers which smell like sugar syrup poured all over a vintage Hermes handbag. Sliding along the spectrum towards Knize are the older vintage style chypres, the powdery iris leathers, the smoky phenolic leathers and in the middle are the softer, creamier more subtle leathers (I'd put Emerald Musk, London by Widian and Cuir Fetiche in the middle here, along with Tom Ford's Ombre Leather which is juuuuuust sweet enough). Knize has shown me that I intensely dislike the more instantly repellent ambroxan-heavy '1980s aftershave' characters like Western Leather Black by Alexandre J and as much as I prefer 'masculine leaning unisex' fragrances, I have my line in the sand. The opposite of Knize Ten-- for me-- would be things like Oud Baie Rose, Absolute Aphrodisiac, Melodie d'Altai, Superbia, Black Line...the often cloyingly sweet, rose-oud-leathers (with a pinch of saffron). It's the Bermuda triangle which always gets me no matter how much I try and paddle away! I find tobacco and incense also intensely fascinating notes, each with wildly flexible characters depending on the composition and the notes which are married to them. I won't write any single note or ingredient off when searching for fragrances to instantly love because I know that out there SOME PERFUMER has created a truly magical elixir containing a note which I was prejudiced against, convinced I didn't like it (like honey, which never works out well for me but often appears in the note pyramid of many fragrances I do love, so there you go.) Thank you for these videos, such fun! Wish me luck on my hunt and thank you for your help! :)
I love Ombré Leather. I wish my husband loved it. He doesn’t want to wear it or want me to wear it. Womp womp. Here to find a little bit more feminine leather scent I can wear.
I really like La petite robe noire Black perfecto. I think that if you like rose and leather this is quite easy to wear. I also have Kelly Calèche and I find it more challenging to wear as the leather is a bit more "skunky", like an old leather bag or leather jacket. My favourite one is Eau de velours from Bottega Veneta. It's leathery but also really floral and beautiful, really classy, really wearable. Maybe more leaning on the feminine side but still quite unisex. And my favourite for a man is Tom Ford Ombré leather ! Guys you can't go wrong with this one 😉
Great and helpful video Soki! The Hermès and Kilian sound so intriguing ❤️ and I was tempted to pick up Bvlgari Black but I’m not into masculine fragrances as much.
Hello, Sophie! I do love leather perfumes. You did not mention Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina Eleganza or Avon Attraction Sensation. The new perfume which contains leather Accord From Avon is called Maxima Icon. Perfumes for gentlemen: Hugo Boss The Scent or David Beckham Beyond Forever. Sending much love, Lucy
Loved the video Soki. Bottega Veneta and the leathers from Tom Ford and Hermes probably appeal to me the most, but I do love my Donna Noir Absolu. Wish Midnight in Paris was still around too...
I recently bought Kelly Caleche and it’s a very interesting scent! I’m hoping to get into it more and more, but I guess recently I’ve been reaching for other warmer scents for the cold. 🥶
Stephanie Manalo I plan to get this one but feel it would be its best in the Spring or Fall, before it gets very cold. Can’t be too cold or hot for that one. 😀
I LOVED Outspoken by Fergie x Avon, and I think it was because of the leather because it was such a unique fragrance with being a sassy, fruity but powerful and high class smell. I used mine up and its no longer available so I am looking for another leathery scent!
Alaïa original in the black bottle is one of my favorite scents with a strong leather note. I got put on to it from Tanya Sanchez’s writing about it. It’s not for everyone, though because it’s really different. I wish I could find the words but it’s just... really different.
@Elle Foster I have rogue and I love it. I heard it can be a dupe for the original Bottega Veneta so I'm passing on that one. I would actually like to know which one is better between Bottega Veneta L'absolu and eau de Velours. I heard they are a bit sweeter then the original and I would like to try the sweetest.
Lady gaga eau de gaga is really good, having lime top not with white violet middle note and leather as a base note. Could u please recommend similar perfume i could buy with similar notes plz?
I love Bottega Veneta too but the L'Absolu Eau de Parfum have you tried this one I don't think I have smelt anything else similar to the Bottega Veneta range.
I smelled bottega veneta on my friend and loved it so bought a bottle for myself. I hate the smell on myself, way too leathery and earthy for me as I like warm, sweet scents. Now I have a huge bottle gone to waste! 👎🏻
I had such high hopes for the leather Valentino Donna (I only knew about it from your video :-)) but it smelled too powerful on me, and manly, I'm sure it would suit a man more, and so arabic - unfortunately I have headache when wear such scents on myself.
Bottega Veneta is my signature scent. No on ever wears it or even talks about it and that, to me, makes it that much more special.
I do, it's been my signature scent also since it came out in 2011!!!!
I get so many compliments on it, I absolutely love it!! I just tried Illusione for Her by Bottega and I am in love with it!

@@ciganyweaverandherperiwink6293 another one is atelier vanille insensee. no one ever talks about it and it is beautiful

My darling soki, you have to added guerlain black perfecto floral and guerlain Bois mysterieux !!!! 😍😍😍
Tom Ford Ombre Leather is my absolute favorite. The lasting power on my skin is insane! I went to a festival & I literally could still smell it in me 3 days later! Thank God bc I probably would have smelled horribly otherwise! 😅

Love watching all of your videos- you are so detailed and I really appreciate all the hard work - fantastic channel
I like how your reviews are succinct but still descriptive and enthusiastic. Can you do a review of everything in the Kenzo range?
Great video! I am intrigued by Killian and the Cuir de Russie.
Can’t believe you didn’t mention Tom Ford ombré leather...to me that is the most popular one right now
Ah yes of course haha
Don't like it.
Louis Caeiro Ramos lol oh
I love Ombré Leather. I wish my husband loved it. He doesn’t want to wear it or want me to wear it. Womp womp. Here to find a little bit more feminine leather scent I can wear.
Love Valentino Donna and this review. 👍🏼

Great video! Thank you for including Bottega Vanetta I bought the box set for myself 2 days before Christmas. Happy New Year!
Tom Ford does leather so well. F Fabulous and Ombre Leather are my two fave leather scents, I also love Black Rain by Renier 👌
👍👍
What are the most feminine Tom Ford leather fragrances?
Great and helpful video Soki! The Hermès and Kilian sound so intriguing ❤️ and I was tempted to pick up Bvlgari Black but I’m not into masculine fragrances as much.
My favourite one with leather is la panthere. Likes and all the best during these days.😋😍

Tobacco perfumes please, Happy New Year Soki💝

No wonder I love the : madly in love! I loved one from Trussardi ages ago ( think it was a white leather bottle), first time I heard about leather.
Nice list Soki. My favourite leather scent is Ombre Leather by Tom Ford
Ooh might need to check out Valentina Donna Noir!
Loved the video Soki. Bottega Veneta and the leathers from Tom Ford and Hermes probably appeal to me the most, but I do love my Donna Noir Absolu. Wish Midnight in Paris was still around too...
Ah yes I used to love Midnight in Paris, the bottle was beautiful 💫

Is there anything similar to Fan di Fendi Leather Essence? It has been discontinued but I'm looking for something similar

Hi Soki, I really like your videos, they are a great inspiration for me. I would like to see a video about molinard perfumes :)
Happy new year!! 🥰🍾🥂
Happy new year !
Alaïa does a great leather and also Rihanna's Rogue. Can you recommend any fresh leather female/unisex perfumes for summer? Thanks.
Hmm fresh and leather aren’t natural accompanying notes I don’t think
Rihanna’s rogue is amazing! Unlike anything else I own.
Love the list. I love floris leather oud by floris !
And Guerlan Black Perfecto has 🥰
This one is probably the only leather I can wear
Bulgary Black is just a masterpiece, very sensual, very dark and smells a little papery
👍
Eau de Gaga from Lady gaga is the best leather perfume from all of those. Is juicy lime with purple violet and a lot of leather
The heavy leather perfume is Bottega Venetta eau de velours
Love this .. beautiful content
Thanks for sharing your video take care❤️
The original Vince Camuto perfume has a leather note in it. I love it :)
👍
I love Bottega Veneta and Valentino Donna. I want to try Kelly Caleche.
They’re quite unique !
Hi , is there is a dupe to kelly calache ?
Which Kelly Caleche version is better the EDP or EDT?
If you want stronger than Edp
I smelled bottega veneta on my friend and loved it so bought a bottle for myself. I hate the smell on myself, way too leathery and earthy for me as I like warm, sweet scents. Now I have a huge bottle gone to waste! 👎🏻
Can you do a men’s cologne version of leathery scents?
I had such high hopes for the leather Valentino Donna (I only knew about it from your video :-)) but it smelled too powerful on me, and manly, I'm sure it would suit a man more, and so arabic - unfortunately I have headache when wear such scents on myself.
Leather is quite a male note
Rhianna rogue has a very feminine leather scent. It’s daytime sexy/ neutral with a slight plum scent. It’s also very inexpensive
lala foster Sounds intriguing 😃 thanks!
Are the Amazom fragrances legit??!?!
I think so and often they have many reviews or are amazon recommended
This is my fav video of yours, can we get a new leather top list? Lol
"Animalic" 😉
Very nice Review 😎👍
Enjoyed
🥰
💗
🥰
Why don't you ever have the perfumes you're talking about? It makes me feel that you don't own any. It's a really strange feeling..
