Radagon and Elden Beast RL1 No Roll/Block/Skills No Upgrades/Aux No Damage

- Finally got the unsegmented kill. Crickey that Elden Beast part though. He did not want to go down without a fight. Big timewaster
Technically the 2nd time I've done this kill, I did it last patch (pre hammer buffs), so slightly harder: • Unfortunate Roll
However that one had a misclicked roll when I went to attack, so I didn't feel right about keeping it.
Radabeast (Radagon of the Golden Order + Elden Beast) at level 1 (wretch starting class), without upgrading weapons, rolling, blocking or using weapon skills. Only "consumable" buff is Godrick's Great Rune as it allows me to change weapons to Alabaster Lord's Sword in P2 without swapping rings. (And it gives a fairly substantial damage boost)

The fact that you just ran circles around Radagon to keep him from hitting you is insane. Who would have thought that giving him the ol razzle dazzle would be his greatest weakness.
wouldn't really call it a big weakness as this is still incredibly hard to do lol
It applies for every enemy i dont know what youre talking about, thats just how tracking works

Elden beast had you running laps, I see elden stars isn’t a one time thing and just has a long cooldown like Radahn meteor. any other attacks like that? I assume radagon’s 3 part slam is one.
Man, the Elden Beast segment was so awful. Just constantly running away from me. For gated attacks that are rarely used again you also have the triple rings as also shown in this kill. Those are probably the longest timers in the game I reckon. And as you mention the triple slam from Radagon, but I'd also argue the stomp-jump-hammer slam that he does for P2 transition also counts as he does it again very rarely.
I assume you mean something with a suitably long cooldown to the point you're unlikely to see it more than once under regular restrictions. Otherwise lots of hp-gated attacks are on a timer - Fortissax spinning attack, Morgott's sword rain f.ex.
Perhaps also scarlet aeonia from Malenia (though I've also heard people say that it's just based on hp a 2nd time - haven't fought the boss myself yet so idk) I'm also unsure how her clone attack functions.
so what exactly happened with elden stars at 13:35? did the elden beast drag it away with its body when it swam off, or can you really outrun them just like that?
Standing under him like that makes it go straight up and back down (at least I think that's the movement, haven't actually looked at it lol) during its fast-moving phase. Works every time, though for no roll if EB does the hand slam you die
any particular reason for picking the Alabaster Lord's Sword? wouldnt picking a physical only weapon be more damage efficient?
Very low stamina costs, and the 2H CR2s have very high motion values, giving you more damage than the AR would suggest

This is the reason Marika smashed the ring. She saw this fight in the future and got frustrated over the outplay.

Sometimes I do the Elden stars trick and take chip damage at the very beginning, so you have any advice?
Could always try jumping if you see a projectile flying towards you. They tend to hit your feet in my experience (unfortunately they can also come straight down and jumping every time will probably get you hit a lot more than not jumping at all will).
Should be very rare if you're positioned correctly though, so if it happens a lot there's probably something wrong with either the timing of your run, or the initial positioning. Through all my attempts I think I got hit by that four times. Unsure if those were my fault, or if it's simply RNG.

Also question, why Alabasters lord sword for EB? I know its second CR2 does 44 poise damage but what does it have that makes it better than the buffed hammer for EB? I do notice that the CR2s don't cost much stamina that could be it
The stamina cost is very important. It also does A LOT more damage per CR2 than hammer. Can't remember the numbers right now, but it's like 80 more damage per CR2. Slightly harder to stagger with, but still way better.
@@mouseinatutuoh I just looked at alabaster lord sword's motion value on its CR2 and damn that's on the same level as serpent hunter (215). I thought perhaps the split magic damage would be a detriment against a boss with 35% magic resistance, but that motion value probably offsets it and does more than what a hammer would do (165 MV on CR2)

@@mouseinatutuyeah, looking at the two weapons, the lord sword has higher base weapon damage. I thought serpent hunter would have higher physical damage, but nope, Alabasters is higher and has magic damage ontop of that. Also out of curiousity I compared the stamina costs for both CR2s and damn it's not even close. It's like the Alabasters lord sword was made for level 1 runs haha
Elden Beast is the true form of the Elden Ring, acting as the vassal of the Greater Will, and is found in the Elden Throne. It was sent to the Lands Between through a golden star long before the events of the game.

Insane. I really liked the fight with Radagon though. That shit was nail biting action packed awesomeness.
Radagon is fun for sure. Too bad I got absolutely horrible EB RNG, with it just constantly diving away instead of fighting me. That phase can last like 4 minutes with good RNG (as showcased in a separate video)
13:30 to 14:40 is truly the greatest marathon I've ever seen

I dont wanna be that guy, I've seen a few of these vids from different creators, but Im gonna go ask you to explain something. 1:03 and 1:27 did you muck about with hitboxes? That drop move on PS5 generates a hitbox noticeably before it did for you. Also his rush sweep almost always hits at that range, his hammer even clipped through your head a bit.
The hitbox radiates outward, starting from the hammer. If you're in front of him the hammer also has a hitbox, that might be what is hitting you. For the "rush sweep" that will never hit you if you run backwards. Can also past him on the hammer side, or press r2 to duck under it.
also jumps are really weird. you get s on your legs before the animation even noticeably starts, so you'll still be grounded but untouchable. it's funky

Twinbird Kite Shield, raises damage by 5% when at low hp. (Also raises defense, but I dont remember how much)

@@09xz. Probably still powerstanced Bandit's Curved Swords. Infused with bleed if you allow that, or keen if you don't. Mantis Blade, Alabaster Lord's Sword (with no godrick's rune just swap strength talisman for int one), Hammer and Cleanrot Knight's Sword are also all good against different bosses. If you use weapon skills, some ranged ones might be decent, and Cragblade is really good this new patch.
