I had the same thoughts when using the aerogel and adhesive. The adhesive reluctantly adheres to the aerogel so best to apply on a flat surface then move the aerogel to a vertical surface and press on and hope for the best!

It is fine to insulate BUT these houses need ventilation else you're just going to trap moisture inside.

yes this is why I use moisture permeable materials
