I am grateful for the honesty of your videos. I am still in the gunna stage although I do have a stingless bee cut off tree branch hive. At least watching you I know that there will be ups and downs, fun and problm solving. Thanks for teaching me.

Recently bought one of your "Might be Good, Might be Shit" t-shirts from the web store. Shirt material feels good and fits nicely. Also feels good to give a few bucks to you two, to support your bee adventures and shenanigans!

Turns out there is actually method to all the madness!
Maybe not as much method as madness, but it's still there.

That old brood comb should be good for attracting swarms to swarm traps though.

I love watching, I learn from you. I however have a top bar that I'm going to be setting up. 😁

You can still top bar in a langthroth box if you use foundationless frames, you only use a starter strip of wax no wires its a lot easier to service them and move them in my opinion the top bar is inferior in design for many reasons, one being you destroy your comb to harvest your honey

Well done and very watchable! Do you collect pollen and propolis, too, or just honey?

Thank you so much! We don't collect pollen but we are testing out some propelis traps but mainly honey ;)

When I used the smoker I think I overdid it. The comb I ate tasted smoky

When extracting honeycomb, use a bee escape, No smoking bees off frames. It empties the supers and the bees cant get back up to them.
