It took me a lot of time to understand a use Focus mode. I setup 6 focus mode, some are triggered by time, some manually. The ones by time are the one in the evening and night. Evening, I display a simpler dashboard with the most important app, phone, iMessage, notes ,music, podcast. Night it's evening poorer in app. No notifications except family. The other focus mode are for Travelling, Walks / Biking, Video, Work time, with relevant app for each. I created shortcuts to switch from each mode, and I added them in a folder I set in the dock. By default all notification are set to off. and Only tur on the one I really need. since then, I'm really happy and the phone is really used to help me instead of me being used ;)
Hey Miles. I recently got the iPhone 16 Pro and updated to iOS 18.0.1. After 2 hours and 50 minutes of screen time, my battery dropped from 95% to 52%. I believe Apple claims better battery life. any thoughts?
Awesome content man! Sub’d! Few Questions please: how is your battery life with this setup so far? Screen on time? Battery percentage at the end of the day?
I say it falls on the user you are responsible for your actions you can’t blame the apps if you choose to install them. The problem is not the phone is you. That is my opinion on this.
That's not how addiction works. Yes, you chose to download the app at first, but as soon as it has hooked you, you almost have no choice but to keep using it. It is designed this way. How else are the tech companies going to keep you on there for so long? After all, that's how they make their money...
i remember finding your channel when you were at 1k subs. i'm happy you've grown a lot since then. ur quality has always been amazing

Bro, keep posting. Don't stop, we need valuable content like yours.
Can you share the wallpaper you use on your iPhone please?
I hope you can do a video of setting up shortcuts and Focus modes like last years but with IOS 18, I adore that video! Keep up the good work
Liked the focus thing in CC. Many comments on other things. Focus modes not necessary
I like how you've set up your phone, but where do you keep the phone app? Do you generally not make calls?

I’m watching this, procrastinating…
how exactly do you turn a shortcut into a Focus button? In the control center setting i mean? that looks like great idea but it doesnt work for me
You create a shortcut to set the focus mode and then assign the shortcut as a button to the control center.
Hey, how did you get that widget for insight timer on the home screen? Its not available on my iPhone.
