    A tip for Everyone:
    When creating focus mode, try and create just two for now - Work mode and fit mode. This will give you give you a square widget with two solid and clear options, trust me you won't be needing more than two focus modes. It will be easy to place and also helps you set your mind on what you want to do. As for the sleep focus, you can create it and just schedule it without having to toggle it as you would pretty much want to sleep and wake up at the same time. This will save you from needlessly creating focus modes for too specific of an action and would eventually end up not being used at all.

      @@HarrisX_Play_Master agreed, he is our enemy. we gotta go to actual jobs or study for the future jobs. let's stop giving these people in this world free money for basic common sense on knowledge we already possessed. as consumers we do not recognize the power we hold by consuming and its influence in the world. so be mindful of what you consume. i believe there is a shift

    This is super inspiring! It’s amazing how small tweaks in setup and app usage can completely transform a phone into a productivity powerhouse. Definitely trying some of these tips on my own device. Thanks for sharing!

    It took me a lot of time to understand a use Focus mode. I setup 6 focus mode, some are triggered by time, some manually. The ones by time are the one in the evening and night. Evening, I display a simpler dashboard with the most important app, phone, iMessage, notes ,music, podcast. Night it's evening poorer in app. No notifications except family. The other focus mode are for Travelling, Walks / Biking, Video, Work time, with relevant app for each. I created shortcuts to switch from each mode, and I added them in a folder I set in the dock.
    By default all notification are set to off. and Only tur on the one I really need.
    since then, I'm really happy and the phone is really used to help me instead of me being used ;)

    how exactly do you turn a shortcut into a Focus button? In the control center setting i mean? that looks like great idea but it doesnt work for me

    • @easnot
      @easnot 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You create a shortcut to set the focus mode and then assign the shortcut as a button to the control center.

    Hey Miles. I recently got the iPhone 16 Pro and updated to iOS 18.0.1. After 2 hours and 50 minutes of screen time, my battery dropped from 95% to 52%. I believe Apple claims better battery life. any thoughts?

    I say it falls on the user you are responsible for your actions you can’t blame the apps if you choose to install them. The problem is not the phone is you. That is my opinion on this.

    • @jordanreger
      @jordanreger 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That's not how addiction works. Yes, you chose to download the app at first, but as soon as it has hooked you, you almost have no choice but to keep using it. It is designed this way. How else are the tech companies going to keep you on there for so long? After all, that's how they make their money...
