    This was awesome Guys. You just made me spend over $100 on new tackle already set up. I need to change the hooks on all of my current gear from Florida Sporthfishing.

      Thank you! I have those Florida sport fishing hooks too! They work but straighten pretty easily. Jygpro has some really good stuff too!

    So tired of hearing my gear being called a bass/trout rod. Stoked to see Tairaba catch up here in the states

    Why are those jigs the same weight (smaller) than the riproller? WCJ at 350g is (example) 5”. The riproller is 7”(example only I haven’t done a measurement) ?

    • @FullSpeedFishingTV
      @FullSpeedFishingTV  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, they'd be the same weight, just in a different form.

    can you guys explain a little more of what's the pe 4 ,6 and so on, and about the rods rating too like if you coverted them into we in the west coast are used too like 25lb 65lb you get the point thanks

    • @FullSpeedFishingTV
      @FullSpeedFishingTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure! So how PE line is rated isn’t off the breaking strength like most of our line is. It’s actually rated on its diameter. Since one of the key aspects in jigging is getting your jig to the desired depth as fast as possible the diameter of your line is extremely important! So PE really just refers to the specific diameter of the line, as far as rod ratings go most of the SPJ rods are designated by the gram jig you can fish on it. My jygpro rod is from 80-240g jigs meaning the rod is meant to give Those jigs the best action!

      @@FullSpeedFishingTV ohh ok so pe4 breaks at what lb test??

    • @FullSpeedFishingTV
      @FullSpeedFishingTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Tony67032 depends on the brand and the strand. Typically pe4 can be considered to a 30-40lb braid. But that’s not always true

    • @Tony67032
      @Tony67032 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FullSpeedFishingTV ohh so abit more complicated , but can I still use regular braid, like 40 or 50 lb. , Im sure it will still sink pretty fast

    • @FullSpeedFishingTV
      @FullSpeedFishingTV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Tony67032 you can BUT we do recommend a 8 strand. It will help with scope as its like half the diameter of "normal" braid

    (Sigh) I guess I heard Submission Fishing wrong. My jigs arrive with no hooks. I guess I ordered wrong. I just listened to this podcast and thought their jigs were hooked and ready to use. $70 for two jugs I have to put hooks on myself. I already had that. Sheesh!
