From what I notice, sometimes controllers do fail to register inputs via Bluetooth. Its just a really old connection that even fails to connect my phone to headphones from time to time.

it’s kinda ridiculous the amount of input reading the dlc bosses have. As soon as you even press the healing button they will rush you or dealing long range attack. At that point what are you supposed to do. It’s not enough to keep distance at this point. With how little damage window you already have and now you gotta decide if you can even heal, I completely understand why it’s not even worth healing sometimes.
@@SpaaardaaaRellana hit me with that moonwave slash 3 times in a ROW while I was trying to heal. At this point I'm convinced Miyazaki is possessing these bosses to personally kick our asses.

My ass started hurting because this boss was pounding it for 4 hours straight. In the end it didn't even feel like a win, i believe Renalla was stating to feel bad and let me win.
Yeah I just managed to beat her desperately with my mimic tear after getting thrashed for hours.Although just after beating her did I realise that how good of a boss she really is.Even though I won by no real skill she’s still an amazing boss regardless.

They did say they improved the bosses intelligence btw. So they don’t follow the same attack patterns as the OG bosses did, they’ll react to your decisions and change accordingly. Makes it tough affff

I think she is so weak because the Rennala we fought was just an illusion made by Ranni. But yeah her sister is waaaay stronger.
@nightcorewb4949 The first stage is the real rennala, but she's severely depressed so she was weaker, which is why she doesn't really fight back. The second stage is the illusion which was made by running as a form of protection and is meant to imitate rennala when she was in her prime.

Did it really work?? I hate the npc summons, especially in this dlc, because they hella scale the boss hp just to deal no damage, never dodge, and maybe sometimes take aggro away from me (which sometimes I prefer having since I know what to expect from the boss' moves. Otherwise I'll be behind them or something and get hit by a stray I couldn't see coming)
The stagger they deal is nice I guess, and the aggro gives nice downtime, but significantly worse than a player or spirit ash imo. Or just thugging it out solo like a mule.
I’ve been summoning the npc’s when applicable to progress stories, but the fights are much more difficult solo, even with the unpredictability of having a summon
She's killing my Mimic and my npc and we're all ganking her
@sgtbanana1703 in my experience they'll face tank damage instead of dodge until like second phase, then explode to the boss' dps, while throughout the entire fight dealing what feels like unupgraded weapon's damage, leaving the player to shoulder 80/20 of the health rather than 50/50, with the boss hp scaling as if they're a player with full damage.
Aggro prediction is honestly only a minor headache, I just mentioned it to mention. Only attacking after the npc does almost ensures the hit, and then you can just dodge until they take it back, plus you'll worry about constant healing pressure with another entity getting slapped in your stead. They're a nice replacement for a human player without spending resource I guess, but most of the time when I help a host who summons them, they drag up the scaling without any dps and then poof, when as 2 people we probably would've survived idk I'm bad

rellana took me like 50 tries, and the only way I got past it was when I swallowed my pride and used mimic tear. I honestly don’t know why they made the SECOND BOSS malenia 2 with magic.

Summoning is fine but u gotta be ok with knowing u could never beat that boss 1v1.
U can try again NG+ but it’ll be tougher so ppl 1v1ing bosses is just for that confidence in knowing they beat a difficult boss in one of the hardest RPG’s ever.
Dancing lion was way harder to me than rellana, think i had some good RNG cause i got her my 3rd try

I've come to the conclusion that I just need to fight every boss naked, I can feel the power of Let Me Solo Her flow through me.
fighting naked while learning is actually good, since u take way more damage you will be more safe but as you roll faster you can punish more stuff, with time you will learn basically all her moveset while learning punishments too, then u put some armor on and it's easy

Don't be ashamed for using summons, i personally dislike using any spirit or summons, but i respect people that use them, since the design philosophy of Elden ring is to give players a lot of tools and resources that each one can decide to use or to not to make better their game experience, just enjoy the DLC and the beatiful designed enemies and scenery brother.
