Local Coin Shop Pickup and a Junk Silver Hunt! Since I have had several requests for me to do another local coin shop (LCS) pickup video, as well as a junk silver purchase and hunt, I decided to go to my Local Coin Shop and kill 2 birds with one stone! I grabbed a $58.35 Face Value Junk Silver Bag filled with all of his available Barber Half Dollars, Barber Quarters, Standing Liberty Quarters, and Barber Dimes he had, as well as Walking Liberty Half Dollars, Benjamin Franklin Half Dollars and Mercury dimes - which I was hoping would contain some key or semi-key dates! Hopefully you all enjoy this video! I may also hit up some pawn shops and thrift stores to see if there are any hidden treasures hanging out in there too! As always - Happy Hunting and Thanks for Watching AND keep Stacking that silver my friends!!! Rob, I'm still a kid, and I can't really do anything to find coins except coin roll hunting and I have a kind of small budget. Do you have any advice? How can I form good alliences with people who will trade money for a bunch of rare coins like you?
Eurgh... the term "junk silver" just irritates me to no end. So what if the coins don't have value beyond their metal content? Using "junk" as a descriptor sounds like the trash is their next destination.
Rob i really enjoy watching these. Of course im still learning what all is good to find so u r helping me learn. So thanks! This gets me so excited about coin collecting.
Thanks Rob you have taught me so much this was the last thing that I needed.I don't stream I just collect for my self I want to buy bags like that.Keep up the great stream and THANK YOU
Beautiful score. I love junk silver. Really enjoyed watching this video. I tell ya, I was on the edge of my seat during the whole thing. You have a wonderful evening and as always, Enjoy. CI
Really like these hunt videos! I hope to one day have a cool LCS. Not only are mine 30+ miles away, they charge 13-14x face for "junk" and I've never even seen a barber in the mix. :P
Hey rob love your vids but listen when I was searching a roll of nickles I found a 2005 bison nickle and its from the Denver mint but underneath the mint mark was a Philadelphia mint I just wanted to know how many were minted like that
I totally wish I had a guy that would let me come in and buy junk silver coins in my area. I do, however, have a guy that lets be buy all of his 90% half dollars for $6 a pop which isn't bad especially for their numismatic values. Last night Benji ender box was a dream of a lifetime. It was enjoying to watch Rob. Thanks for helping me gain knowledge on coins...I was wondering what state you live in? I am having problems finding banks to let me purchase half dollar boxes. I got lucky last week and purchased a 2019 BU box of ANP quarter box and scored ten 2019 BU "W" Lowell quarters mixed in with them. They are all going to NGC!!!!
i live out in the sticks where i can't just drive down to local coin shop due to aint one lol so question is where would next step be? in purchasing "Constitutional Silver"
@@RobFindsTreasure awesome i just called coin shop around 40 miles from my house one way they have what i'm looking for. Thanks again for fast reply. :)
@@RobFindsTreasure alright I thought so just found your channel. Thought about getting back into the coin collecting game. Nothing big just casual finds here and there with loose change etc.

This is great Junck Silvera tells you the history of the coins. This is a great show.🙏
Seeing all of these old coins genuinely makes me happy. It’s not just the designs, but just the fact that they still exist in recognizable condition.

Loved the video Rob. to bad I don't see much of those type of coins up here. Keep hunting my friend. :)
Nice video rob
My best junk bin finds were a 1921 P Merc and a stunning 1916 P Merc with near full bands and rainbow toning. Paid $1.10 for each coin.

Hi Rob
I want one of the Christopher Columbus commemorative or the seated quarters. Ooo ooo or a barber dime.
Junk silver is the best. Always a chance you can get something good.
Can't be mad at that!👍🙌
Lots of nice older "junk silver". Even some Barber dimes. LOL
CM Silver they’ll be yours I’m sure brother!
The other day I found an 1892 barber, it was my first one!
Just hít the jackpot. Purchased 30 dollars of silver quarters for face value at work. Three of them are slq.

Chase Rogers I’m in Texas - took me months to get my banks to like me enough to order them for me.
Hey I love those nickels where do you get them from?
When I saw the seated in the back I clicked it faster than the speed of light
Not sure if you told us, but what was the cost you paid for that bunch. Just so I have an idea what to expect when I buy some.
FOUND-IT BURIED 1.40~ is one ounce of silver. So assuming that there is 34 ounces of silver so roughly 500 bucks for all of that. 🤷🏻♀️
that much eh wow Thanks Cade Buckley
What do you do with all your copper and silver when it’s all said and done?
Nice
A barber is a barber!
Cool
Rob, how is your book called?
I get barbers got junk at local coin shows! It’s crazy! Love the vid rob! Did you get my email?
Yes and thank you!
Thanks so Much rob! You are the best!!!

Shawn Conner try the gold and silver dealers - they usually have some.
@@RobFindsTreasure awesome i just called coin shop around 40 miles from my house one way they have what i'm looking for. Thanks again for fast reply. :)
Just wondering how you got it at face value and not the cost of silver?
I paid the cost of silver but I get bags of $50 FV coins so I know what I am spending. I typically pay the usual 11-15 X Face Value.
@@RobFindsTreasure alright I thought so just found your channel. Thought about getting back into the coin collecting game. Nothing big just casual finds here and there with loose change etc.
You had me dying at first...Did Charlani have to help wipe up the slobber😂😂😂great video bro..
my grandfather has a 1916-D!
OMG - so awesome!
@@RobFindsTreasure its slick, but its still cool
My LCS doesn't sell constitutional silver lot they only sell one pre-1964 coin and they look it up in the blue book by date what does that mean?
Wow
BOOM! 💥
Early rob!!
Hey Rob, how much did you pay for those? I'd assume more than face value haha.
Awasome
I saw the silver dime.
Or one of the barber quarters
How much do you recommend is a reasonable amount to pay beyond face value? Does it vary based upon coin type - halves, dimes, etc.?
Angel Burba 12 times face is usually ok, but no more then that
you have a hard cover redbook
I only have the coin books that are like six bucks no nice ones
Hi Rob, sorry... stupid newbie question coming.
Why does the seller not sell the silver at spot price but rather at face value?
Would you please explain? Thanks!👍
He does. He puts it is a bag then charges like 12 times face value
Is there anyway possible I could buy a New Orleans coin from you??
Sir how much have you paid for the coins ??
How do you get junk silvers
Hey Rob do you still want to work on that walker trade?
