Birds do "stop" mid air sometimes when the wind blowing against them is too strong and they don't decide to say fuck it and drop down. Elevation gain would be the primary purpose of that "hovering" (when they don't want to just flap their wings like crazy and waste all their energy) or just observing the environment. It's unlikely for them to Stay like that for long of course.

what if Prey is experimentally difficult like Doom where if you stand still for 6 seconds youre basically dead because too many enemies are on screen, but when you die in Prey, YOU START OVER FROM THE BEGINNING. only difference would be the massive focus on narrative
From what I saw of the Quake Champions thing the characters and their abilities will play out more like Black Ops 3 as opposed to Overwatch where it is more of just another thing to add to the loadout instead of determining the entire kit. It looked like you could switch guns.
Rather than a Skyrim remaster, I'd rather have a morrowind remaster. We already have mods that make skyrim look beautiful, but I feel like a morrowind remaster has the potential to look better than any of the HD mods ever did.
they wouldnt do that, they have skywind. with all the shit modding community gives bethesda time to time, its more a love-hate relationship, so bethesda would never turn down such projects with their own remake. It would also take alot of time due to how morrowind engine is different from current version. way too much work.
