It’s kind of a good example of what I love about ASOIAF. Even in this cynical, cruel, and horrific world, a bitter and loveless married couple can have one moment where they can laugh with each other. It’s that glimmer of humanity in otherwise “evil” characters that makes the series very human.
I'd have honestly preffered a series set during the time ofn Roberts Rebellion and the acts leading up to it over House of the Dragon. Then again with some of the overly horrific things that King Aegon did it would have to have a higher age rating than even GoT did.
