As both a Subaru and Tamiya fan that’s just getting back into the whole RC hobby again after many years away this build is absolutely great… nice one, well done 👍🏻👌🏻
how would you rate/review the dumborc transmitter and receiver overall? debating if I should gut one out of my old Tamiya M03 or just spend the 40 dollars
Do you have any slop on your steering? I have 2 TT02 and both have steering imperfections. I know that the solution is getting the expensive hop ups. The SRX model is good but pricey. The one that you built is the TT02R, but how do you like the steering aspect of it?
The TT02R also has some slop on the steering. I usually just bash around the street and I don't race so the sloppy steering is not much of a problem for me. I do wish it had more steering angle though.

@@NotSoScalesteering angle is easy mod to do on TT-02, just cut the stoppers on the suspension arms with a sharp blade or small sharp side cutter.

2:14 did the pinion gear come in the kit or you bought it separately?
The 27T pinion gear is included in the kit.
