16MMNGM Hampshire Area Group running trains at the Hollycombe Mega Model Show 2024 (Sunday), featuring a wide variety of live steam & battery electric locos, rolling stock, and Hollycombe's resident Quarry Hunslet, Jerry M. The group's modular layout is set up on a slight slope, so there is a bit of wheel-slip on the uphill, and some 'spirited' running on the downhill! Wonderful video this. Lots of popular locomotives as well as a surprise or two. Plus there is something so heartbreakingly “British” about the Mamod traction engine powering the “mobile workshop”. You’ll forgive the hyperbole I hope but I am trapped in Canada at the minute and the cultural vacuum is killing me.
