@Chair of Truth Of course she does! Look, Maggie didn't know if Beth was actually alive. She assumed he somehow escaped the bus once she couldn't find him on it. But Beth is different. She has no idea if she died at the prison or not. If Carol hadn't stayed close to keep tabs on her friends/family, then Rick and the rest would've died. Lacey was right. That crazy dude locked in the container was part of the gang that took over Terminus from Gareth (back when Terminus WAS a sanctuary}. 0:41 To confirm that it was Sam, the first one killed at the trough - remember Rick gave him the watch, but he never returned. It never fails to make me weep with joy when Daryl runs to Carol, and Rick & Carl runs to Judith, and Sasha runs to Tyreese. 11:23 Carol is responsible for every single person in that group being alive. Reflect on that. It's why she became my #3, after Rick & Daryl, pushing Michonne to #4 (sorry Michonne). @@angie-tq4ew haha, you're right. Joe definitely seemed to get Daryl. In some ways he treated Daryl a lot like Merle did, like telling Daryl that Terminus wasn't gonna roll out the red carpet for the likes of them. And that people like Daryl Joe were born for this world because they were surviving and living like this long before. I think he could have possibly gotten in to Daryl's head like Merle did if he had been with him for a longer time. With Daryl separated from Rick and his new family he seemed pretty lost. Thank God that Rick bit Joe's throat out lol.
One of my favorite episodes, the ending was happy tears(for once), this episode has everything in it, making it a great episode(action, gore, suspense, horror, emotional, happy ending and even some comedy due to Eugene being a coward), made it one if the best premieres, season 5 is pretty good. You guys are half way there! 5 more seasons to go!
“I could almost cry” Dude I cry every time at that scene. Darryl and Rick hugging Carol, then the reunion with Judith. ❤️ Not many times you cry from being happy in this show.
*When Rick meets Judith again is one of my favourite moments from all 10 seasons! I mean, they went through so much since she was born: from Lori's death after labor to "losing" Judith in the prision! And the fact that Rick loves her eventhough she is Shane's daughter is just so nice to see! Also, remember in the pilot when Steve said he didn't think he would love this show and now he is enjoying it so much? I KNEW that would happen! ;)*

My personal favourite episode of the series. The savagery of Terminus, Carol being a badass, Tyreese protecting Judith, all the reunions and overall Rick just annihilating everyone. Great episode for a great season
Love this episode! At the time that it aired, it was the most watched and highest rated episode of the series, that far. Great reaction Steve and Lacey!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Loves to you both 💕💕💕
In my opinion this episode was one of the greatest season premieres of any show ive seen, that goes for g.o.t, breaking bad, stranger thingsn etc... This episode was just perfect all around, theres 1 other season premier that I put up there with this, another top 3 episode imo, but thats down the road
1:28 when Rick gunning down those cannibals.. it was the most memorable moments for me , i remember watching it screaming and shouting in our living room, hoping & praying that our new found group 'family make it alive somehow outside of those NOT so sanctuary gate~
You guys see when Rick and Co were making weapons before they came and took some of them? Their fighting stance before the tear gas hit? That was pretty much how Gareth and his people got out and took their place back. That's why they used the gas. They knew some of their captives would try the same thing.
I loved the reunion moment especially with Sasha. But by the end of the episode, we pretty much have a group that has pretty much turned so badass that anyone who so much as looks at them wrong they are dead. Also the Post Credits scene was pretty awesome. Also that guy you see in the flashback was the Mad-Cow guy from earlier.
Wow! I think that's the most emotional I've seen Steve ever get watching something there at the end! This is definitely one of my all-time favorite episodes. Anytime you get Badass Carol and Badass Rick in the same episode you know it's gonna be good! It's scary to think that a group of people could turn into what the Terminus people became. Nice to see most of our group back together again! Great reaction!
The improvised weapons they fashioned for themselves in the boxcar were (I remember reading somewhere quite a few years ago now) actually improvised by some of the actors themselves from items they were wearing (like Rosita's earrings) or had on their person.
Tyreese is the ultimate badass, remember when he used just a hammer to clear out an entire group of walkers while being surrounded. One of my favorite characters for sure.
Aww, that was just awesome! I absolutely loved watching y'all watch this. Before Season 5 Epsiode 1 I had several favorites and Season 4 Episode 16 "A" was right up there provably as the top. It's still right up there not just because it's bad ass but because it shows that when you have a father the way you should have a father....there is absolutely nothing that he wouldn't do to save his child. My dad was like that. He was a cop. I always knew that he would do anything necessary to keep me safe. Steve I see that in you also. And please, I'm not speaking mothers here. Just dads. Now my kids aren't nearly as blessed as I was. They're like "Thanks mom for picking such a dumb ass" right lol. Seriously though, he has never been around and reliable enough to protect them from anything. He's fearless, but in a very bad way. Lacy , from what you have said about you growing up you had to basically rely on yourself also. But look how blessed your kids are. You have built a life for them where they never have to worry or fear and that is thanks to you and Steve! Omg, I'm doing it again! Rambling, lol. I am so sorry. What I was trying to get to is that this episode became my favorite when it came out and still is to this day. It is also when I fell head over heels in love with bad ass Carol. She is a force to be reckoned with!! Anyway, thanks for the two parts. It eas awesome. And I hope you're having an amazing day 💚💜

I think Morgan is a ways behind 'timewise', as in months. To me the foliage around the no sanctuary sign is more overgrown then when Rick changed the sign to say 'no sanctuary'
I'm sorry but look at the amazing shot at 10:31, Rick, Carl and Judith in the foreground and rising smoke from Terminus in the background, amazing work guys.
I want to clarify something. Because she saved everyone that DIDN'T mean Rick was wrong. This is a common misconception by a lot of TWD fans. Rick was right in his original decision. Also, this decision, made it possible for Carol to be able to rescue them. Had she been with them, she would've been stuck with everyone else. Now, what this did show Rick was that she was willing to make the hard decisions. While her original decision was a bad one, she redeemed herself by saving the group pretty much by herself.
THIS is my fav episode. I love Carol. So much of what she took in, was missed. Way back, she over heard a conversation between Shane and Andrea. Shane was talking about "flipping the swotch. Tht switch that makes you scared or nervous. Or whatever. Cause if someone is going to die, you make sure, you are the one making that decision. Cause your partner, or family, is counting on you. And you dont feel bad about it. " Then he said "guess Im still working on that part" He had just killed Otis. Carol has nothing left to lose! And only loved ones to gain! Has been my fav for a while. This just sealed the deal!
Also Carol is such a badass she helped setup a distraction to hide Rick and the group some time to escape at the end of the day she's a hero in my book and that reunion with Rick Carl And Judith and Tyrese and Sasha was beautiful and that embrace between Rick and Tyrese was amazing that was Rick's way of saying "Thank you for keeping my daughter alive and safe"
Tyreese and Sasha together, Carl, Rick and Judith together, Daryl and Carol too, Glenn surviving both close calls, and we get three new awesome characters for our big-ass group. This episode gave me an insane amount of gratification from all the bad crap Rick and the gang have gone through, this season is very well written and is my favourite one y'all have been on so far! Enjoy it! :)

This was one favs too! The music is very important part of TWD, and video is very cinematic sometimes. Different directors gives show different feeling sometimes.
This is definitely one of the BEST Episodes of the entire series(my favorite of this season) I literally cried the 1st time I saw it when Daryl ran and hugged Carol!! 💜💜💜💜

One of my all-time favourite episodes. Rambo Carol saving the day. Carol is such a badass and yet everyone underestimated her.... not any more! Lol I love how Steve commented on Maggie, she's another badass, I love her! So strong and prepared to die fighting if she has to.
Steve, Lacey, I feel you. That scene with that guy ready to snap baby Judith's neck, ooh, that boils my blood. Steve, I KNOW you wanted to get in there and beat the shit out of him. Seeing that baby's face breaks my heart. How could someone do such a thing? And to an innocent child? Disgusting people. Now those are the kinds of people you need to get rid of in this world. Thank goodness for Tyreese. That gentle giant protected baby Judith from that lowlife. And that reunion with Carol. Oh lord. "I can almost cry." Go ahead Steve. Cry. Most of us do. That is a very sweet and touching moment. The family has reunited once again. They are so much stronger and much more capable of anything when they are together as one whole unit. I never ever want any one of them to separate ever again. And then the best moment is when Rick sees his baby girl is alive and Sasha sees her brother is alive as well, LOVED IT! It just warms my heart. Gets me emotional every single time. THIS is EVERYTHING. Now we just need to find Beth and get her back to Maggie. I need a sister reunion NOW lol. And it seems we might also get another reunion with Morgan showing up and following behind them. I agree 100% that this episode was the best one overall. By far, the only best season opener of any tv show I've ever seen. See you guys for the next one! PEACE! - Yvette
Been looking for people to watch the walking dead with on TH-cam, found Niki and Steven and now Duo React, gotta say their daughter is adorable. Also noticed that their clothing changes with every episode lmao

@@DuoReacts I definitely subscribed, can’t wait for you guys to watch the last season of TWD, I’m sad that they’re ending it, you guys should definitely check out Fear The Walking Dead
another FYI, when that guy had his hands on Judith in the making of this episode, the close up of the hands touching Judith is actually the real father so his daughter (Judith) didn't make his daughter more upset. I have always loved the way that AMC really care about the young actors and they really take care of them. just thought I'd share and yes again.
4:53 angry Steve face detected. Tbh ever since you guys mentioned somewhere about Steve's forever confused expression I keep noticing it. 😂 Even though Terminus did turn out badly I can't help feeling like it was worth it because it got everyone back together. For me it's mostly seeing how Rick just literally drops his stuff and runs to Judith. I can't think everyone meeting at Terminus was so bad in the end because of that scene. I agree they shouldn't be left alive like Lacey said about agreeing with Rick. Everyone else seemed to feel like they'd die at Terminus because of the walkers, but I feel like they should know better. They all survived the exact same thing happening with the prison. If those guys survive they're still out there, so why take the chance? Even if the group escapes they can't get /that/ far away that quickly. Imo it's not worth taking the risk of having them following at your backs. I'd say regroup, make a plan and go after them because even if that's also risky, I think it's more risky to just /leave/ them and be paranoid. Rick's group took their home. I'd expect them to come back after me in that situation. I get why they don't trust people now and it sucks, but them attacking other innocent people the way they were attacked when they were innocent doesn't put them in the right. With where they're at in their mentality, they're just too dangerous.
Love this reaction! Been waiting for you guys to get to it since you started twd reactions. Well worth the wait! The ending is my favorite part but the entire episode is amazing. Love you guys!
Comic Comparisons : The current arc mirrors an arc in the comic named Fear The Hunters Terminus as a place doesn’t exist but the people do Instead it’s just a traveling group of cannibal bandits who kidnap people and eat them It’s nowhere near as organized as in the show.
Carol letting the walkers loose on Mary was supremely cold...and awesome. I also like the intercutting scenes between the chaos that Carol started at Terminus, and then Tyreese on the opposite end of the spectrum trying to go the pacifist route with the Terminus person in the shack. I love the whole reunion scene. The bit with just Carol was emotional enough. Tack on the reunion between Rick, Carl, and Judith, and, damn, it’s just an emotion overload. Especially when you remember Rick and Carl’s reaction when they thought that Judith had been eaten by the walkers at the prison. Steve, you looked like you were about to bubble any second. The musical score that accompanies these emotional scenes - totally well done. Lacey, you were right. The crazy guy in the train car was the same guy keeping the Terminus residents captive. You remember Mary talking about how they started out offering sanctuary to people, bad people took over - killing, raping, and just laughing - and then they took the place back, making it Terminus as it exists now. And yes! So good to see Morgan again! It does make you wonder what prompted him to leave his self-designed compound back in King County. Just a heads up: if you’re watching these on Netflix, you normally get a prompt to start the next episode while the end credits are going. If you don’t - let it keep playing. There’s likely a post-credits scene similar to what was with this episode.
@Anon Ymous ~ We are not watching on Netflix, we are watching on Vudu, and we did see the after credits scene with Morgan, we almost forgot, but remembered just in time and it is in our post discussion ~ Lacey
Duo Reacts - Got it. I’m not sure how it presents on VUDU, but I was just noting an observation as I watch on Netflix. There are a few episodes with post-credits scenes, and the lack of an immediate queue-up of the next episode during the end credits was my indicator that there’s a little extra on this.

It's my favorite episode, but also because it was the first episode that I watched, that caught me up with everyone else.
Great reaction! 😊🌺🏝️❤️
Rick& Carl seeing Judith is one of my fav moments of entire show. This ep is on my top 3 list too. Aww wee carol, MVP.
I have been waiting for you guys to get to this one. MY FAVORITE...Daryl and Carol hugging is my screen saver....has been for years.
Same here Steve, i can't stand when they leave weapons laying there when they kill people. Grab as many weapons as you can.
You got to keep in mind, it might be better to take all lighter weapons, as to all weapons which might weight them down, if they have to run.
@@CheddahSlammer And Daryl "is a bowman, through & through." lol I don't know why I keep quoting Joe. Maybe it's because - as much of an ass that he was - he seemed to understand Daryl better than anyone.
I agree as well Eilene. That's what I tell my niece when she plays Fortnite lol. Honestly, you just never know when you're gonna find another weapon to protect yourself with. Take the guns and use it for now just to make it out of there for the time being even if it's not the type of weapon you use. It's still a weapon and it's gonna help you take out the people who are after you.
- Yvette
@@angie-tq4ew haha, you're right. Joe definitely seemed to get Daryl. In some ways he treated Daryl a lot like Merle did, like telling Daryl that Terminus wasn't gonna roll out the red carpet for the likes of them. And that people like Daryl Joe were born for this world because they were surviving and living like this long before. I think he could have possibly gotten in to Daryl's head like Merle did if he had been with him for a longer time. With Daryl separated from Rick and his new family he seemed pretty lost. Thank God that Rick bit Joe's throat out lol.
@@aracelikiwrna5778 Awesome advice Yvette 😊
One of my favorite episodes, the ending was happy tears(for once), this episode has everything in it, making it a great episode(action, gore, suspense, horror, emotional, happy ending and even some comedy due to Eugene being a coward), made it one if the best premieres, season 5 is pretty good. You guys are half way there! 5 more seasons to go!
“I could almost cry”
Dude I cry every time at that scene. Darryl and Rick hugging Carol, then the reunion with Judith. ❤️
Not many times you cry from being happy in this show.
I KNEW that would happen! ;)*
He was in before season one even finished. :)
yep! But then, this isn't a show about zombies! lol I wonder how many people have missed out on this show, simply because they don't care for zombie movies. I imagine a lot!
@@wordswritteninred7171 I was one of those! LOL It actually took me a few years to start watching this show because I am not into zombies myself, but then I read the sinopsis and I was like, "ok, that's interesting". It's all about restablishing society after a catastrophic event and how people will manage it. I LOVE The Walking Dead!!!!!!
@@holandesa1924 Me too! I would have missed out if not for my son. He said "Its about people. About society". If not for that, I would have never given it a thought! Now Im hooked! Lol
@@wordswritteninred7171 Me too! But I won't comment much about my favourite parts and what I hated in the show because Lacey and Steve are still on season 5 and I don't want to spoil them ;)
My personal favourite episode of the series. The savagery of Terminus, Carol being a badass, Tyreese protecting Judith, all the reunions and overall Rick just annihilating everyone. Great episode for a great season
One of the best episodes of the show! I love when Daryl and Rick hug Carol 💜
Love this episode! At the time that it aired, it was the most watched and highest rated episode of the series, that far.
Great reaction Steve and Lacey!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Loves to you both 💕💕💕
In my opinion this episode was one of the greatest season premieres of any show ive seen, that goes for g.o.t, breaking bad, stranger thingsn etc... This episode was just perfect all around, theres 1 other season premier that I put up there with this, another top 3 episode imo, but thats down the road
To me it felt like an entire season in one episode.
O
1:28 when Rick gunning down those cannibals.. it was the most memorable moments for me , i remember watching it screaming and shouting in our living room, hoping & praying that our new found group 'family make it alive somehow outside of those NOT so sanctuary gate~
You guys see when Rick and Co were making weapons before they came and took some of them? Their fighting stance before the tear gas hit? That was pretty much how Gareth and his people got out and took their place back. That's why they used the gas. They knew some of their captives would try the same thing.
Love your reaction when that guy threatened to kill Judith. Steve wanted to come through the screen and kill em
Somebody should make a compilation of Lacey saying "he's like....."
And Lacey going “I meannnnn”
Or "friggin" 😂
Or planting seeds
I loved the reunion moment especially with Sasha. But by the end of the episode, we pretty much have a group that has pretty much turned so badass that anyone who so much as looks at them wrong they are dead. Also the Post Credits scene was pretty awesome. Also that guy you see in the flashback was the Mad-Cow guy from earlier.
I love the irony that the cannibals get eaten by "humans"
I love Eugene.. I cried in this episode ever time I watch it, over and over again.
i love when the entire group gets back together
Yes the guy at the end in the flashback was the same guy they let out of the crate
He deserved his fate
I do believe I heard Steve's voice break and quiver for a second there!
Yes, that was the big crazy dude that was in the train car.
A lot of people missed that when it first aired.
What do you mean i don't understand
Abraham is a badass he moved in front of everyone when the flash bang came as well
Tyreese is the ultimate badass, remember when he used just a hammer to clear out an entire group of walkers while being surrounded. One of my favorite characters for sure.
The end scene is chilling shows how evil people are and how even good people can be eroded by the hopelessness of the human condition.
And I hope you're having an amazing day 💚💜
Hey Waldo! .... I mean Amy, lol. Finally found a comment of yours without going through endless of comments in here. It takes awhile after new comments come through. I tried finding you last time and it took FOREVER lol. I saw you this weekend in the chatroom. Just wanted to stop by and say, "Hey there, hi there, ho there!" It's a greeting that Bob from That 70's Show says when he greets his friends lol. Be seeing you around Amy. PEACE!
- Yvette
@@aracelikiwrna5778 I absolutely love That 70's Show!! And I am so happy to see you and your message 😊 Like you said, Lacey and Steve get so many messages that it has gotten difficult to find people. Which is awesome for them!! lol Anyway thanks for brightening my day!! And as always I'm gonna keep watch for your comments my friend ☺
@@mythra7174 Now I'm hearing that in Micky's high squeaky voice over and over in my head!!! 🙉
I think Morgan is a ways behind 'timewise', as in months. To me the foliage around the no sanctuary sign is more overgrown then when Rick changed the sign to say 'no sanctuary'
I could watch your WD reactions all day, everyday, thanks for videos, love em!
@glodar govnjavi ~ Thank you so much for your kind words!! ~ Lacey
17:01 I hear them wheels turnin' u two!
MVP this episode: CAROL!!! (kickin' names & takin' ass!)
Enjoy it! :)
Couldn’t WAIT to see y’alls reaction to this! My new favorite you tubers!
@Brian Elwood ~ Thanks to our new favorite subscriber!! ~ Lacey
Love how yall are putting things together...love the face reactions I laughed so hard at yall...everyone please stay safe and blessed much love from San Antonio
I will agree that this episode is one of the best, but for me personally the first episode was the best because of how it draws you into watching the show.
One of the greatest premieres in the walking dead...
This was fun watching yalls reactions to This episode .. the roller coaster rides are so crazy in this show .. cant wait for the next one
Such a great episode and a great reaction. Carol has now become first pick in a game of 'massacre your enemies'. From that beaten down little bird of season one she has become a hound in her own right.
Thank you so much for your incredible reaction to this incredible episode.
Also thank you for the livestream the other night. I was able to watch half but had to work with an elderly lady all night. Have a good week
This episode is in my top five, really love it. Love Carol and love all the reunions, I always tear up when i watch this episode. Loved your reaction.
This was one favs too! The music is very important part of TWD, and video is very cinematic sometimes. Different directors gives show different feeling sometimes.
Judith is the luckiest baby in the apocalypse.
Steve's face..."She's like a Seal Team 6!"
Eugene's delivery with those quick-witted lines is perfect lol iconic tbh
It's great to see you so hyped Steve, it really is. I want a t shit now that says " c'mon man " 😅🙌
Or one that says, "what the shit??!" LoL I love it when he says that, the look of confusion that goes along with it is great!
This is definitely one of the BEST Episodes of the entire series(my favorite of this season) I literally cried the 1st time I saw it when Daryl ran and hugged Carol!! 💜💜💜💜
I did mention on another vid about that post credit scene glad you remembered!!!!!!!
When Tyrese said to Carol "How are you gonna do it?" and Carol said "I'm gonna kill people." OMG, I wanted to scream out loud Go Carol you bad ass!!!
I really love that in credit scene it shocked the living crap out of me when I first watched it at the time I was not expecting that this was the best episode by far evil intentions to Good Intentions to Bliss at the end of the episode Everybody's back together new people a big group and somebody's looking for somebody end credit scene shocker
12:30 yes, he is the crazy dude that was locked down!
Yall are the best! Can't believe I'm just finiding this channel. I can't wait to binge!
PEACE!

Been looking for people to watch the walking dead with on TH-cam, found Niki and Steven and now Duo React, gotta say their daughter is adorable. Also noticed that their clothing changes with every episode lmao
When we were catching up on TWD, we generally watched episodes on different days, but sometimes we binged too... so you may see some shirt repeats occasionally LOL
5x01 is the favorite of a lot of people. It's a great one!!
4:53 angry Steve face detected.
Tbh ever since you guys mentioned somewhere about Steve's forever confused expression I keep noticing it. 😂
Even though Terminus did turn out badly I can't help feeling like it was worth it because it got everyone back together.
FUN FACT:
The year this episode premiered, it aired on October 12
It was my birthday, we had a zombie party and watched the premier...
the father of the baby was the one with the hands near of the baby's neck. how the way the way the parents would allow to be filmed
Love this reaction! Been waiting for you guys to get to it since you started twd reactions. Well worth the wait! The ending is my favorite part but the entire episode is amazing. Love you guys!
@Monica Mcnutt ~ Thank you so much girl!! ~ Lacey
Hell of a ride that episode. Carol for the win! As you say, good core group we have there.
Awesome season, been watching your reactions to this, and started watching TWD again from a season 5! Such an epic series!
Great season opening! Everyone gathering back up together! Welcome back Morgan! “We never die” See you...until 5/2!
Comic Comparisons : The current arc mirrors an arc in the comic named Fear The Hunters Terminus as a place doesn’t exist but the people do Instead it’s just a traveling group of cannibal bandits who kidnap people and eat them It’s nowhere near as organized as in the show.
Always loved the way they made the Butcher Dude a walker. Might have to try that one out as a costume this Halloween 🤔 Top 5 episode all time imo
This was a delightful episode, full of wonderful reunions and victories. Fantastic.
Morgan is such an icon. Fuckin OG!
