- Third and final legendary golem shines very quickly to complete the trio for me in 4th Gen. Very happy with this one as it's probably my favourite of the trio. I really like the blue/green tinge it has in 4th Gen. I personally believe it looks the best in this generation.

Regirock was after 7379 soft resets
Regice was after 1154 soft resets
Registeel was after 3288 soft resets
I'll be hunting for another roamer when I eventually go back to Platinum. I've got some hunts going on in other games at the moment so not sure when I'll get around to another roamer but stay tuned;

What was your longest hunt? I've been hunting Ho-Oh for a little over a month and I'm currently at 14,446 SR
35k for Spheal in HG/SS Safari Zone. It fled sadly. Good luck on Ho-Oh.

Congrats! I just recently obtained a Regigigas distribution cartridge for the purpose of hunting these myself. It's such a unique thing to go after.

Watched the 3 Regi videos yesterday and I was like "hol up-" because it made me realize I've had the event Regigigas in my Platinum file for a good while but never knew until now that it was supposed to unlock the trio. So I guess I'm going to catch them after years ahah--

I think it looks best in this gen but at least the 3D models kinda do it justice considering that most get bland in later hens. Anyways nice shiny
The 3D models have washed out colors. So that's why some shinies look off. Look at Drapion for example.

Grats I actually have this event unlocked in platinum. Though I plan to SR for the Regis in BW2. I’d say registeel has my favorite shiny of the trio. Wish you luck in future hunts.

How long do you shiny hunters go for in a day. I've been trying to get my ONE favorite shiny kyurem for 3 months and about 2 hours a day? Am I unlucky or just dont do it enough. I have to tell myself it will come, but I'm so ready to give up. Any advice helps. P.S I let my younger brother play my other gen V game and in the span of two weeks found two shinies in the same game while grinding. FML
Depending on the game you're hunting in, it's either 1/4096 or 1/8192. It's just random. If you want it enough, it doesn't matter how much time/resets it will take for it shine. Just watch stuff while you hunt, videos, streams etc and eventually you'll get it. Good luck.

A few days after watching this I decided to try to get a shiny of one of the regis on B2/W2, I succeeded in finding and masterball a shiny registeel (which I proceeded to name Iron Maiden) 😁😁
You Upload so many shinys the Last weeks, how lucky can one be.

How do you make him appear?
He soft reset it, when he find out it isn't shiny. Soft reset - pressing A, B, Select, Start at the same time. When it is shiny he don't need to soft reset it anymore, only if he kill it. (Sorry if bad english)

There are no shiny locks in Gen 4.

Legendary Potato LGPE is boring for shiny hunting, you just sit there.
I don't think so. Personally I find their hunting style incredibly boring. I generally prefer to get shinies in the 1/8192 odds as they're more valuable to me personally. 1/4096 in Let's Go, plus the fact they're not the typical random encounters just ruined any really potential for hunting in those games. I may change my mind, but I doubt it.
3288 is "very quickly" for you?
