Should visit in 2025, I like to visit Berlin, and never been to Germany before. We have the same kind of tower here in Sri Lanka (Lotus Tower/ Nelum Kuluna) and it also has a revolving Restaurant on the top. 😍
I was fortunate enough to go up to the observation deck about 6 years ago. I'm not sure I would pay to go up again when I visit Berlin, it's become a little expensive, as have visits to many tall buildings worldwide 😞
@@DWTravel It is something like Pantone 112 (you can just google it). In the 90's, living in North America, in a suburb I had a German neighbour. When they moved in they painted the outside of the house that colour. I also learned later, that they paid cash for the house with their life savings, so as to have no mortgage. Is this also common in Germany?
We already made a few videos in India, e.g. with our colleague Swati Bakshi: th-cam.com/video/qRe34ed26q0/w-d-xo.html Or with Dhruv Rathee: th-cam.com/video/nznsdcazwqc/w-d-xo.html Would you prefer to see a German reporter in India rather than an Indian colleague?
Congratulations and good luck for your child ❤
Gorgeous with spectacular panoramic views.
THE icon of a forward-looking, now-unified Berlin!
looks gorgeous
I toured the tower in late December 1989. It was an interesting time to be in Berlin.
1989 - for sure! Thanks for watching!
I was there the year before. 😂
Hannah you are lovely as ever and please forgive me if I'm wrong but it appears congratulations are in order !
That rotating restaurant was really interesting

Sadly no QR codes when I visited... still had a great time
I had the chance in 1975 to visit it with my family ( I was only 14😂)
SWEET VIDEO ❤❤❤❤❤SWEET GIRL ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Hannah, what is the name of the mustard-yellow-green colour that is so pervasive in German architecture, on houses, clothing and artwork?
Which color do you mean? Can you show us an example?

Nope. I don't even like to climb ladders. 💀
We are waiting for Hannah Hummel's India trip 🇮🇳
You know that this channel is called „DEUTSCHE Welle“?!
But I hope you know that DW travel has also made videos of places in India

In which are all the places we get offended or disappointed by speaking English ?
oh ok
can i also go without a smart phone, like a normal human being?
Of course!
I am going to write bad things about Germans, then you can call me a jerk and get more likes 😊 > terrible video, horrible reporting
Do they only hire people at DW travel with ring in their noses ?
If you would watch DW more often you would know that the answer is ‘no’.
Does a ring in the nose annoy you? 😆
@@thomasnygaard4514 Yes it’s a weird distraction
I thought that it was a German tradition to furnish your woman with a dog-chain ring to stop them straying? 🤔😱😵💫
@@mortenchristiansen4331 😆😆😆
Why dont read on Gearman language you kan speck very well German
Because of the American colonialism. Everything has to be in English
oh no she also has something in her nose
you mean DW and the tax payers bought you an expensive ticket to enjoy. bitte schoen.
I wonder how tall the BT Tower in London is. Love to visit Berlin again. But today, I am off to Cologne.
The total height of the BT Tower is 189 metres.
