This game is so well done. The first part where you have to drive to the festival site, I was thinking it was a race until I realized it was your crew driving to the festival. I decided to slow down, and realized when you slow down your crew cruises with you, and the minute you speed up, they will too. Reminds me of nights with my girls after a car meet.

I had never bought or played a racing game (except Mario kart) before buying forza horizon 2. And even though I'm not really into cars, FH2 was my game of the year for 2014, and I can't wait for FH3!!!

I used to play midnight club and early N4S-- aka PS2 days, forza horizon 2 brought me back for next gen racing games.

Absolutely loved this game. Been playing FH4 since but the British maps can't beat the amazing outback they made here! Imo 3 had a far more immersive atmosphere

Forza intros are always the best.
Forza Horizon is the only racing series I've ever cared for excluding Mario Cart. I can't wait to try it.

I always appreciated everything the Horizon series brought to the table. It brings the joy of cars and driving with beautiful graphics and awesome music. Forza Horizon embodies the pleasures of driving on the open road and is pure fun all around.

racing games are the best on ultrawide screens. pretty much the reason i got mine was the moment it was announced on PC and x1 together with their crossplay thing, now i can play with my mates on Xbox live, while enjoying it with the advantage of being on an ultrawide monitor and graphics.

Best FCKING game ever. Sick and tired of the fanboy I was with Gran Turismo and DriveClub. It takes a real gamer to separate yourself from a fanboy and just enjoy the best games that exists. I really did think I was missing out on a keeper when I didn't have Forza in my life and I was right. The game literally nails all open world racing games, lost respect for Need for Speed and The Crew. It's a shame Horizon series is an exclusive, I had to buy an Xbox One Slim just for Forza but you know what, I made the right choice.

This may not be a sim by any means, but at the beginning when they transitioned into a truck and went into the cave the radio went out due to no signal it literally shows how much attention to detail they put into making this game. Really excited to give it a go on PC!

+Dominik Rothmeier It's an arcade version of Forza Motorsport series. So basically it has all the things that makes a racing game great but even better cause it's set in an entirely open world, great fun challenges, an insane amount of customization, and it's basically just pure fun even if you are not so much of a car/racing fanatic, (like me).

No, it was done once. The second game you started off in a Lambo. The first game you started in a VW and had bosses to beat at each championship. Horizon 2 had none of that. 3 might, but it doesn't look like it.

Ehh. Sort of. The way that 1 was structured was cool because you had the bosses to beat when you got the next set of races. Don't know why they got rid of that. Horizon 2 didn't really feel like it had the same progression. There wasn't really anyone to beat to get to the top, except possibly for the "final race" which wasn't anywhere near as memorable as Horizon 1's final.

They could just use either a XBOX or a similarly priced PC, if they don't have money for those things they can't play it.
The great thing about the Forza engine is that it's really REALLY well optimized, meaning you don't have to completely break the bank to still get a good looking game.

+ihab dia I'm on mobile right now. just compare your system specs with the Xbox One. The Y series Lenovo laptops are pretty good, though. so I wouldn't worry too much.

Last proper banger Forza Horizon game ever made. After that it all went downhill from there. FH4 was mid but FH5 is an absolute mess.

Yeah if you want a damage model that's really accurate in terms of how a bump between wheels can screw up suspension, anti roll bars and what not, play Assetto Corsa... Christ that game is gorgeous to look at but far too realistic for me. I'll leave the simulations for other folk - me, I just want to get stuck right into another Forza racer... This does look pretty damn sweet. Multiplayer is gonna be crazy fun like the Storm Island add on was in Horizon 2...
I've played forza since Forza 2 and the damage model has always let it down, end of story. Just completely takes the realism straight out of the game.
fh4 was such a let down after this masterpiece, 5 is amazing but still lacking a bit, hopefully 6 can bring it back
