The intro video's from the Pro's, Mad Mike, Chris Rado, pumped you up to compete. I still remember Chris Rado's lines, "It's got a 1000 horsepower,.. and more downforce than the hand of God!"
For such awesome games, the Underground ones had very meh endings. NFS MW, on the other hand, had one of the best endings in the whole series. That moment when you found out Mia was a cop all the time... shivers down my spine.
althought Mia is a cop at the beginning, but we are becoming the most wanted street racers by the help of her to defeat every blacklist member and escape the city from cross.
Underground 2 had that iconic light speed through the city street and crazy music so it was pretty good but Carbon on the other hand was the underwhelming one, Nikki was silent the whole time and Darius drops some wisdom, takes his L and f*cks off with no drama.
I love all NFS without any distinctions, but if there's something I REALLY miss in these plots, it's the bad guy not taking the loss against your character sportively. Look how childish Razor was, look how Darius was on the verge of crying while he handed over the keys of his Audi, look how pissed off Ryo was towards Ryan Cooper's rise and how sad he was when his crew left him after his loss against the protagonist. That's why I'll always praise Navarro's reaction to her loss and how desperate she was after that.
Well i think in Undercover and afterwards the storyline has become more realistic and serious. The stories in Carbon and Most Wanted had more characters and depth though. Basically i think NFS needs a Mass Effect based storylines with different actions, different endings and some hints between each ending, the story should go about a guy who barely makes ends to do professional racing and that means managing your own team and resources and in order to fund his team he has connections for jobs which might come from smuggling cars to moving mysterious objects or to humiliate some kingpin in racing, it could be awesome to have a deep story and also to connect somehow the legal racing (karts, rally cars on regional level, Formula Renault cars, FIA GT racers, Formula drift cars, Hillclimbers, Dragsters) to street car tuning with stage tuning cars and somehow the races and stories come in collision to one another. Or having a GTA 5 storyline with three different protagonists who have to run a difficult reality, from a police officer who might turn a street racer or give to custody the street racers to a racing driver who tries to meet ends between travelling for racing with his team or underground racing with his crew or a driver who is funded by a mobster and tries to legalise businesses through professional racing or sends him to be a police officer and having a person from the inside to protect his illegal activity. I mean many characters already have stories like that it needs a good mix up, years of development and i mean they should follow the Gran Turismo or GTA formula in developing games, they try to make them very realistic and don't need every year to develop a title.
I think NFS might bring those stories into one. You never know but it will be interesting if those stories really meant for future NFS. You called for Resident evil 6 about 1 to 5 character. If they do that well will be awesome to see
Same. It is the only one I played so far and am still amazed by the graphics. I also feel like it was the first time in the NFS games where the cars looked good enough that the cutscenes with real people and 3D model cars didn't look off in any way.
1 of the few games that did the drifting just perfect. ive spend hours drifting from canyon to canyon in my mazda rx7. to the point where i never hit the wall or other traffic once
NFS Payback is really underrated, the length, the variety of races and cars, the history on its own, it was really enjoyable to play. Shotout to the playlist too, the songs complimented the game really good.
And what's more surprised, the player, for some reason, wasn't even charged with planned murder, so he was considered not guilty for those actions he did.
Nfs most wanted was the heart of the nfs lovers... After that only, the developers got the idea of more realistic graphics addon which you are now plating as Nfs carbon.... Think before saying
The Rivals ending gives me chills, it's actually the best balance of edgy I've heard in a while. F8 is a menace. Also, Heat left such a great opportunity wide open with Torres as the new lieutenant. I bet she's gonna be a serious problem for the League.
When I played need for speed heat it's just gave me the feeling playing mw for the first time.after so many years we finally have a good need for speed game and I'm so happy about it
Personally I thought the story for heat was ass so was the drifting felt so stiff I was still able to the drift events fine just felt off but the rest of the driving in the game was fine for me
When I first beat undercover, I was actually surprised that Chase Linh was working not only against us [the driver of NFSU] but also the police force she managed to somehow get through and to a higher status in, which, the story itself is bad in its explanation, but you can figure it out easily if you look into it some more.
I think most of the times developers fail to understand what makes a game enjoyable and memorable. It's not the "make the player feel rewarded in everything they do" like in Forza Horizon and NFS MW 2012, nor is it prioritising good graphics over gameplay like in NFS MW 2012. It's a sound storyline, the storytelling, the sandbox, and the control the player has over each element in the sandbox. Good graphics are always and only a plus. That is why games like NFS MW 2005, GTA VC, GTA SA, GTA5, Halo 1-3 are so iconic, albeit bad graphics. I never played NFS MW 2012 twice, but I replayed NFS MW countless times.

Nfs prostreet seriously needs a remaster..the atmosphere was something else and cut scenes were all great at making you feel good. And the commentator was just perfect throughout the whole game.Everything was perfect.
Underground, Underground 2, OG Most Wanted & Pro Street have so much more soul compared to the rest. Whilst I've enjoyed some since, it's been 15yrs since I've properly loved a NFS.
*side note* In Need For Speed🎉: Most Wanted, that was most definitely NOT the ending scene. That was the penultimate scene that eventually led to the actual true ending which was after the player made the jump to the other side of the bridge & then showed the list of the most wanted racers that included you. Then as the game ended, it shows that they put you as THE Most Wanted street racer on a National scale, then it cuts to black.
And to think that there's an alternative ending for Carbon where the protagonist and Nikki drive together into the sunset. A perfect ending for the OG protag
Carbon Own The City has such a insanely fucked up ending out of the entire NFS series. You became a murderer to your own brother and you get to take his girlfriend and pretending it as a happy ending in the end lol

2:10
*FEMALE OFFICER: Everyone? 🤨*
2:11
*CROSS: EVERYONE!!! 😠*
2:11 EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!
NFS ending always cause me to have mixed feelings (sad and happy)
Other NFS endings: Some of them are cool, some of them are sad
NFS Most Wanted: *EVERYONE!!!!!!*
Most Wanted and Carbon till today far my favourites 🥹😁 one day they give us a remake/remaster 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Nfs rivals have the best story and ending
FR I loved that game soo much on my Xbox 360 I got it again on my PS5
IKR, you get an insight on both the cop and racer perspective
"They say speed kills but if you aren't speeding, then you aren't living."
All NFS ending: got cinematic endings
NFS Shift ending: got a congratulation message by a famous racer
Imagine a NFS game that combines everyone of these.
Everytime i beat Razor, is always a pleasure. There are no other final boss that annoys me the most.
*side note* In Need For Speed🎉: Most Wanted, that was most definitely NOT the ending scene. That was the penultimate scene that eventually led to the actual true ending which was after the player made the jump to the other side of the bridge & then showed the list of the most wanted racers that included you. Then as the game ended, it shows that they put you as THE Most Wanted street racer on a National scale, then it cuts to black.
seeing ken block at 12:36 really made me sad man...
NFS MW 2012 gives me those vibes...
I was like dang!!! They had that kind of graphics for early 2000s but then released that they was real people.
nfs 2015 ending was like a celebration of car culture
The Run was the first NFS I played in 2012 and actually got to the ending
I feel sad for Darius tho. It looks like he's angry and crying at the same time because he surrenders his Audi and gives it to us.
5:19 ProStreet ending was pretty satisfying when you beat Ryo and become the Street King
2:10 EVERYONEEEEEE 😂
Cross, -2005
Best part :D
Yes. My most favorite ending in NFS Most Wanted 2005
Stress of the job man😮💨
Tbh most of the people underestimate nfs hot pursuit's story
It's got the best characters in my opinion
The twist at the end was so insane
Bro💀
