Nice review. Thinking of buying one myself, however I'm a bit worried it might be a but uncomfortable on longer trips. And I do ride some long days doing 200-300 miles. Would you say it is doable? I test rode a standard Thruxton recently, and although the seating position is a bit sporty, it didn't feel too uncomfortable - only at low speeds. This was only a 45min drive though.
I have done over 300 miles in a day on the Thruxton. If you can keep the speed over 30mph then it is fine. I am 5’10” and I need to stop and stretch my legs every now and then as the riding position is quite sporty. And I am probably a lot older than you at 61 years old
@@upnorthbiker thanks for your reply! I'm 34 years old but I also want to take a break every 1 or 1,5 hours with my current V7. Good to hear your positive experience with the Thruxton!

@RiskyR get a test ride. As soon as you open the throttle your wallet will be out and you will buy it
